Really! So during her her pop career she didn't dance? Let alone have to do many different routines on stage during her solo career? Dancing from around 1986 right through to 2002. Then follow that up with judging a dance show, which included judging Ballroom & Latin dances. By my reckoning at the very least that is 16 years dancing.
Not bad considering Danny did not start dancing until he was 18 and was not dancing in Hollyoaks for 3 years. So only really 7 years dance experience. This is why people class them equally. |

According to Wiki ... 10 weeks aged 10 + 11, 2 years running, then 21 months in Wicked, over 5 years ago, followed by his REAL day job as an actor.
He was Gavroche in the musical Les Miserables for a ten-week run in Southampton in 1998, and again in the West End in 1999.[citation needed] He returned to the West End a decade later in the musical Wicked from May 2009, where he stayed for 21 months and was an understudy for the role of Boq. He left to join Hollyoaks in February 2011, playing the role of Mark "Dodger" Savage until 2015.[citation needed] Only added this to 'do' a James Jordan #fact Oh and I don't really count bopping about on stage as dance training nor do I count Danny's West End experience to any great degree. |

Not certain if this is really relevant but he graduated from his degree in 2009, Louise finished at the Italia Conti School in around 1990. So he was last being trained around 7 years ago and she around 26 years ago.

Non taken, you made me interested. I've read over and over that Danny didn't really dance train as such in the West End but I think possibly having had it more recently would be more beneficial.
Fewer years more recently is not unreasonably similar to more years but longer ago. |

It's because Danny is male . Women get vilified out of all proportion here and on social media while males are forgiven most things .
I don't know why some are bracketing Danny and Louise as if they're equals . Danny is the biggest ringer ever on SCD, while Louise hasn't done any dancing since her school days . Please don't say the few steps she did in that pop group is serious dancing .

Which is why comparing the number of years in the business of moving to music is relevant.

Natalie Gumede was never the favourite, far from it

Natalie was never the favourite. She was the DVO of the series and Susannah had a lead going into the final (according to some leaked results) and was only defeated by Abbey after Sophie got eliminated and the X-factor viewers joined the party.

I think Natalie suffered from coming directly after Denise, who also got a lot of stick for being a ringer (and trying hard to cover it up) but was pretty hard as nails and just toughed it out, leaving James to fight her battles for her, so it was hard to get purchase.
Then the next year there was a contestant who had an even greater level of training and was a lot more vulnerable - admitting it at the launch show (effectively asking for forgiveness), fainting all over the shop, having epidurals and spinal taps and whatnot every other week, doing "experimental" (/wafty) routines and talking pretentiously about touching the divine (I know she only actually said those words at the very end but there was plenty of evidence she was an "artistic" type), making political statements and constantly laughing, weeping and acting high strung. It was like blood in the water for people who hadn't got enough satisfaction from hammering at Denise because she was a very soft target. After that, people seemed to have got it "out of their system".

I think if Claudia can get to the final directly, she can beat Danny. Especially if Louise is eliminated.

Very much agree. Claudia getting to the final is a big "if" but if she can manage it she'd be Danny's biggest threat imo. Her show dance could be pretty spectacular.

Danny should win, if it's all about the dancing - which it rarely is.
I suspect Louise will, because that's what the Producers want, and if she doesn't I expect that Clifton Kid will empty all the skeletons out of the BBC closet and have a mega tantrum screaming fit because he didn't win before and he thinks it's HIS TIME. You can see it etched across that little face. No wonder his is follically challenged. All that stress! Is Louise the best? No, of course not - but she is perfectly pleasant housewife and it's only a plastic glitter ball not some huge championship, so who cares? |

Unless it's a sympathy vote. |

Claudia beating Danny, what are people smoking in this thread? If she gets through to final 3 she will place 3rd behind Louise and Danny, maybe 2nd if somehow Louise goes this weekend. Personally I hope the rest of the ranking goes
1. Danny 2. Claudia Dont really care for the other 2, but prefer Ore to Louise, Louise leaves me cold and bores me, dont get why the judges over mark her all the time. |

She topped the voting last weekend... it is possible... she gaining a lot of supporters.
All we know is that her, Louise and Danny did good enough in the votes to stop Ore or the Judge from over taking them. For all we know she could have been behind Louise and Danny in the vote. |

Based on last week's performances, Claudia and Danny are way ahead of the other two. A lot of people won't vote for Danny based on his prior experience. Finally, if Claudia can utilise her acrobatic ability and combine this with her continuously improving dancing talent, it will be a great show dance, and the GBP love to get behind an underdog. |

Claudia could certainly beat Danny at this rate. She is peaking at just the right time, so has that elusive 40 to achieve from the judges (maybe this week?), and had had a 'journey '. She is topping the public vote most likely (based on social media and polls), comes across very personable and takes criticism very well.

Claudia will have the forum support just like Chelsea and Kimberly had in their seasons and everyone be saying they will win but eventually losing to Danny. |
