Ed, Ore and Lesley have joined the tour along with whoever was already on it.

I seem to think Jo has theatre work (?) and does Anton do his own thing (??) so there will probably be new partnerships for Ore and Lesley.

Thanks Dervia . I think Giovanni or Gorka might dance with Lesley and
may be Chloe or Karen with Ore?? I am surprised Robert is not doing the tour.

No Olympians on tour?? So Claudia and Robert will go under the bus next.

I think they announce them in waves so m a y b e we'll see Robert, Greg and Claudia joining soon.

Just spotted Anita Rani's name in there. I wonder who she'll be with?

Lesley is really tiny - Gorka would be a good match on height terms.

Natalie has done the tour in the past - as she is taller, would she match Ore?

I didn't think that Katya and Neil were on tour as they had teaching commitments in the Far East - I might be wrong about that though. In which case, maybe Janette with Ed?

The other celebs are Louise, Danny and Daisy.

Edit: Anita is the host this year.

And no Olympians. Greg is training in the USA from January and I think Claudia is back in competition.

Daisy was announced the week before she was eliminated - which blew a hole in that conspiracy

Some of my absolute favourites this year there. It will be a complete new experience for our politician turned showman. Lesley is adorable and Ore has been great.

Yes - its a great line up. Lesley will be absolutely in her element. Actually, height wise Gio is a little bit shorter than Anton, so certainly could partner Lesley on tour.

It's very well known that BBC supports the celebs who are willing to do the tour.
The problem with Daisy was that she had ended up there three times and Greg was there for the first time and I think the judges wanted the Olympian to dance in Blackpool. Either way, they were both going to leave soon.

I agree with you Sarah - the writing was on the wall. Being positive though, I think Daisy will be a popular celeb on the tour - I could see her Waltz working very well.

If Katya is doing the tour (as suggested by Ed in the ITT interview) then I'd have thought she would want Neil to do it too and so I wonder if he'll be partnering someone?

I really hope Katya and Neil are there. I can't imagine Ed dancing with anyone but Katya... I think it would be harder for him to transfer to another partner because Katya had to build up everything from the very beginning in him. Maybe I'm over-romanticising this thing

I think it would be Karen who will partner Ore

Brenda, Anton and Pasha have their own tours.
Giovanni has his first tour from April 26th to July 23rd.

Ed & Katya
Danny & Oti (is she going back to Germany??)
Louise & Kevin
Daisy &Aljaz
Ore & (Karen as suggested)
Lesley & Neil (if Katya is there)

Trying to think how many were there last yr. Anita, Georgia, Frankie, Jake, Jay, Ainsley. I féel I have left someone out. Oh yes Helen George.
So that is 7. One more to announce. I think it may be Greg & Natalie.

I'm not going so I will miss out on Ed's salsa, live.

ETA just seen Lady lavender 's post that Greg is in training from January. Perhaps someone from last year who couldn't do the tour then, would step in as Frankie and Jake did. Or Melvin and Janette.

A great line up!

Hopefully we get 2 or so more celebrities to be announced.

I've just found the article about Greg.. which says training in Arizona from February, not Jan as I remembered. So... I guess not ruled out of the tour. But with World Championships in August, not sure he would want the tour to disrupt his overall preparation.?

I love the transformation of Ed from rabbit-caught-in-headlights to fully paid up luvvie. Such an old softie at heart.

I would argue that it's "well theorised" not "well known".

I didn't detect any favourable marking or additional support for Ainsley last year. Or Deborah Meaden, Ben Cohen or Fern Britton.

What dances do you think they'll be doing.

They may make a one ballroom one Latin exception for Ed and let him do the Charleston and Cha Cha if not probably Quickstep and Cha Cha or AS to prove they can do the lift.

Daisy will probably do the Viennese Waltz and possibly Rumba.

Lesley probably Quickstep and Charleston.

The rest is harder to guess because they may have better dances ahead of them but going from what they've done I'd say Danny would do The Quickstep and Samba.

Ore American Smooth and Jive.

Louise Argentine Tango and Paso.

There was no 'one ballroom and one Latin' at this year's tour. Jay did his rumba and jive for example.

I would say Craig would be a fool if he didn't ask Ed to do Gangnam Style salsa. And Craig ain't no fool when it comes to his shows.😄
So perhaps--
Ed salsa and Charleston
Ore jive and AS
Louise Paso and Waltz
Danny samba and anything else he's done!!!
Lesley Charleston and cha cha
Daisy VW
I can feel a poll coming on

ETA I just hope they don't have to do another group dance like The Sun Has Got His Hat On. Ooh my life

Sounds like the most fun tour EVAH

Why are the venues all oop north or in London?
BTW, anyone in Manchester wanting to see Ed, take note that he can't do two dates due to prior commitments.
