Hello and welcome to the SEMI FINALS of The A* Factor!
Last week seen a dramatic show as the remaining acts took on 'Let's Go Indie'. Both of Riley's remaining Over 25s fell into the bottom two, with the judges sending home James C 2-1 and therefore he left in 6th place. During the week, the news broke that Riley quit as a judge, therefore ending the Over 25s run in the competition with Relley finishing in 5th place. Which leaves us with just the girls and boys still in the running to be crowned champion.
It's been a long race but we're almost at the finishing line. This week the final four acts are taking on 'BEST OF BRITISH AND AMERICAN ANTHEMS' in round one and then 'GO FOR BROKE' in round two in a bid to get your votes. This is where the acts need to impress if they want to make it to the grand finale.
Now that's enough of me talking, let's get on with the show and welcome our judges and the top 4!

James, at first I honestly wasn't sure. I didn't think it suited you. I would have never given you that song. But, by the end, you won me over. It was so emotional, and soft, and you showed a different side to yourself. It was breathtaking. A gold star from me.

Sam Lavery, last week, that wasn't great. Let's put that behind you. This week, I wanted to go back to your rocky routes, and when this song popped up in the suggested feed I knew it was perfect for you. It was dark, fast, and fantastic. I loved it, you made me proud. Well done!

I liked that you went into a rock direction which i suggested. One thing is i don't understand the gender swap, it meant that your vocals were quite poor as you couldn't reach those notes.
Not good comments for Sam from Danyal, but with another song still to come she could still turn it around tonight.

YES Chrisitan that was fantastic. That song choice suited you down to a T. Your vocals were also stunning. You are a serious contender hopefully!
When I heard the song, I was pretty unenthusiastic. But, after re-listening multiple times, I realised it was a genius choice! Something nice and different for you; Something less serious. I loved it!

Faye, I really enjoyed this. It let you show off your vocal abilities and you did me proud. Excellent job!
That was vocally pleasing. The only criticism I have is that we are at the semi final stage of the competition and you seem to be singing the same type of song all the time. However it was still a good performance
