That's what I'd like to see.

Indeed, I'm a bit disappointed the producers didn't take advantage of Will's departure and turn this week into a two dance week too. That way the finalists could have performed every dance.

Maybe a thread should be started on how Claudia has got out of doing a Rhumba when all the others remaining have been forced into one?

Nah. It's just how it goes sometimes.

Oh thank you. That's the best laugh I've had in ages.😂

Both Ore's and Louise's numbers will resemble AS more than the dances the should be doing

Minimal QS & FT with lots of armography and lots of faffing

Will Jo dress as an oompa loompa to Ore's Wonka?
Will Louise look sweet in a gingham frock to Kevin's suede fringing??, look for 40's from the judges for both of them

Danny given another fast song for another Tango, the judges said his AT was frantic no wonder when he had such a fast track for it and the same will be said of this tango

I bet Lou Lou and Kev get a proper tango song when they do their Tango

What did Claudia do to deserve having kiddie songs

Poor Judge, wasnt he scuppered enough last week with a Rumba

Isnt it about time for a Samba or Salsa for Lou Lou ?, everyones right they are saving it so she can hide with a ballroom when they have two dances

As Claudia will hide what will potentially be an uncomfortable Rhumba behind a good ballroom?

In fairness Claudia will be able to show her gift for lifts again with a fairly iconic song, so I see no unfairness.

I agree Rob Rinder appears to have been strung up but potentially he will be in the dance off as he won't get top place on the leaderboard. I don't want him to go but am resigned that Saturday will be his last dance.

They know Danny can deal with speed and do it well, if anything it makes his dances more show stopping.

Doesn't Claudia do floor gymnastics routines and didn't AJ win competitions with Chloe doing rumbas? Would this not make the rumba a strong dance for them ?

How can you say this? You don't know what speed it will be played! It isn't always fast as I pointed out further up this thread.

Probably means, if they get through, they'll miss AS altogether as they won't want two dances w/ lifts in the semi finals.”

That's a shame as I would have loved to have seen a Danny AS - I'm hoping you're wrong on that.

They don't necessarily have to have lifts in an AS. They are optional.

I think Ore has by miles the best song for the dance. I think the Judge is stuffed having the samba to that. Not sure about Claudia's but it could be cute, really depends what costume does to them. Altogether, I feel like we've had better songs from musicals on other weeks than we have this week.”

Agree with this and love the phrase 'dart throwing monkeys' although I know it's been used before. I call it the elephant of bad music choices because no one is allowed to talk about it making it the elephant in the room that whooses or craps over someone at least once a week this days.

Claudia has had to have the worst deal so far on that front although Ore's had a couple of bad weeks being whoosed by the bad music elephant - shame really he might have done a really good VW or paso otherwise.

Easy to do it when there are two dances. .”

You've kind of made your point here - in the immortal words of Queen Elsa ...

Perhaps if they'd done two dances last week and had a nice pro-celeb group dance this week. In fairness to them they were banking on having more people - WIll Young's departure has left them one down.

There again, who would want to be up against an Oti inspired Salsa?

True. Claudia has already done an AT too.

With respect to the celebs and pros who have to make it werk as best they can, that's the thing that is the saddest for me - the dances we've been 'robbed' of because of the wut? Music(and themeing) choices - and they way they can completely halt any momentum a couple have going (thinking especially of Ore and that shocker of a Charleston).

Yeah, but they've known about it long enough to sort something out!

Claudia's style of gymnastics is actually more explosive than graceful, she would say this herself. As a sport, gymnastics is about speed, strength and control. If anything her beam work would probably contain more skills that could be thought of as helpful to rhumba, ie, balance and controlled 'slower' movements. I think the emotional aspect of the dance will be the part that's harder for them but I think with the right music it could be a really good dance.

Why has Robert got the Samba? That means he has three ballrooms left, forcing him to do two in the semis if he makes it through.

I thought they do one ballroom and one latin in the semis? Are they that confident he won't make it through?

He still has the AT which flits from Ballroom to Latin classification as the need arises, though.

I'm a bit confused too, The Jennifer Hudson version is too slow, and the Beyonce disco version would be horrific to dance Tango to. I'm puzzled unless they're doing a unique arrangement of it like Cry me a River?

The rest seem ok- I think Ore's Pure Imagination might close the show, has the potential to be lovely

Except she hasn't as she'll have to do one next week as she's done all of the other latin dances with doing a salsa this week.

I agree and it hurts the show too all those dances which could have been so much better had the producers not saddled them with such rubbish music and inappropriate theming.

I think the judges can't afford to have 3 way tie on the top this week... Louise and Ore could be in danger.
