I'm thinking along the same lines. It's very likely this will happen i think. We haven't had a murder in a while now.

Goldie will be lifted, and frankly i won't care a less, because of her, and because ste deserves what he gets. All though, her whining will be even more insufferable then her behaviour now, so maybe i should care a bit and hope it doesn't happen. But then again, would it be better to have some extra goldie whining for a day, or ste succeeding? Aweful choices.
The control freak story is a good theory actually, and it might be a way of the producers trying to (and failing) to make ste the hero by jumping in to save amy from evil ryry who was made unlikable in an attempt to force people to side with ste.
