I agree but it doesn't fit with the general "producers are being mean to him" vibe on here.
Well it's mean in the fact he now thinks he isn't that popular

The facts are there. You can look up who was in the "bottom two" and you can check the votes to see what they were that week. 90% it is the actual bottom two. Not an opinion, not made up, a fact.
You've made that up. Prove it.

Yes, it's hard to believe that viewers would vote for a gold-medal winning Olympian and a retired Premier League winning footballer rather than a daytime TV presenter .

I'm hoping that Martin isn't anywhere near as popular with the majority of voters as he seems to be with the posters on here. He can be quite amusing at times but I find him rather tedious tbh, so the sooner he leaves the better AFAIC.
Or we could compare a TV presenter to a professional couch potato in the popularity stakes.

Loved it when Martin was delighted to be with the girls as he said that it was nice to be wanted by both sides as he was always the last one to be picked for a team.

i just want martin to beat larry
Why? Because Larry had the balls to tell him what an annoying twerp he was being? If you ask me, Larry did him a huge favour by being honest with him. Martin's a successful property developer FGS, he's a tough cookie not the meek and mild little soul this forum seems to have turned him in to.

I want Martin to beat Larry and Adam, but Adam will be on final and might win.It is between Adam and Scarlet

Martin and Scarlett are two of a kind, imo. They are both good on the shows they do at present, but where do they go from there?

Yes, I think he was bottom 2 sadly. The Twittersphere was all agog for Wayne, Joel and Adam tonight. But he's still done really well. Loved him being in the Girl Crew.

You have a point ...I couldn't even stand Martin before the jungle and Scarlett I loved on googlebox but overkill on editing has switched me round. Martin will no doubt make appearances on Sunday Brunch but doubt he would take up the obligatory This Morning guest presenter spot. Scarlett's going to have an influx of offers of the Vicky and Fearne type before she fades into obscurity no doubt. Its not the kind of life I envy

I don't know why people are so precious about Martin. He was an overbearing, annoying twonk. They've done him a favour telling him to his face. He's making much more of an effort now. I don't know how he got to that age still acting like a spoilt brat.

Martins played the biggest game of all...he's just been more clever about it...the younger ones can learn a thing or two about how its done.

It's hard to believe the likes of Sam, Wayne etc. had more votes than Martin. What do people think?
I don't find it hard to believe, I thought he would be the first out, I really don't like the guy!

Nope, it's in no particular order
They say that, but sometimes somebody posts the final percentages at the end of the series of one or two other reality shows, maybe it was this one too, and it often turns out that the bottom two are usually the actual bottom two, but not always.

Don't forget that there is a precedent for this. In recent series celebrities who were big characters in there didn't get to the final, but most of us thought that they were a dead cert to be in the final.
For example David Gest finished 6th, which was a shocker. I think if Martin had gone he would have finished 8th.

I've noticed they don't show either one to one or group interactions with those two since Larry last patronised Martin. Wonder if they are avoiding each other, which is difficult in a small space, or that Martin is tip toeing around 'the Godfather,'
Extra camp showed Martin comforting Larry, who was crying following Jordan's departure last night. I thought that Martin took Larry's comments very well, as they were very OTT in relation to what had happened.

Larry as a very high opinion of himself...used to quite like him but after watching him on this show gone completely off him....bully is the best word suited to him.

Martin all the way for me

That 2nd link didn't work. I've found these from a post from last year;

Bottom Two's
Vote 1 - Susannah & Chris (Actual B2, Susannah Out)
Vote 2 - Brian & Yvette (Actual B2, Brian Out)
Vote 3 - Yvette & Chris (Duncan announced as Bottom 2, Yvette Out)
Vote 4 - Chris & Lady C (Tony announced as Bottom 2, Chris Out)
Vote 5 - Duncan & Tony (Actual B2, Duncan Out)
Vote 6 - Tony & Jorgie (Ferne announced as Bottom 2, Tony Out)
Vote 7 - Jorgie & Kieron (both out)

So I'd say that's about 50%, so not 90%

David was 4th. I remember because he took part in the celebrity cyclone thingy.

Whispers going around that it's a double elimination tonight.

Martin fans, he needs your 5 whether he was bottom two yesterday or not!

Big Martin fan, and I have a bad feeling it might have been. He's still got a bit of a marmite personality and didn't get much edit time tonight.

Hopefully it only strengthens his vote.
I agree with you, plus the less people in the camp the more the votes get transferred else where which could rapidly see changes in the bottom two.
