Yes, who needs the experienced, long standing duo when you've got a relative amateur narrating?

Of course they need Ant & Dec. What they do need to be thinking about is whether they need the follow-up nonsense (Extra Camp). They could save a fortune if they dropped it and nobody would really miss it.

Ant n Dec just state the obvious, do a lame joke about what viewers just watched. They are certainly marmite characters.

Large parts of the show could possibly be formatted to not have any on-screen hosts. It could be done big brother style with just a voice over for continuity and to read out the phone numbers.

Or it could be edited highlights, as you say, with the bush telegraph interviews used to provide the continuity and narration. Again, you'd need an off-screen presence to do the phone vote numbers and t&cs etc.

However, you'd still need someone there to read the results of who is going to leave and do the exit interview, so it does make sense to use them for a lot more while you have them in the vicinity. Plus their links are part of the character of the show that makes it distinct from others of the type.

I'm a "90s kid" who gets very nostalgic about A&D, but they've been a bit grating for me this series.

They should have the geordie jokers in the actual jungle bit on one season - maybe a surprise switch on day one - 'actually guys, your going in the jungle and you're doing the first bush tucker trial - get that goat testier in ya mouth Dec that's it....'

Dane bowers and Tracey from goggle box, you are the presenters of iacgmooh

Viewing figures would probably diminish considerably without them.

They are very popular.

And all the people they fly out to take part.

Extra Camp is unnecessary in my opinion.
Four presenters and endless guests.
I caught a Tweet last week from Adam's brother Scott and his girlfriend Kady who were living it up in first class on Etihad Airways which I assume is how all the celebs and guests travel.

Without Ant and Dec on multiple series throughout the year, how else would pre-pubescent children get lured to sleep at night? Keep them around. Sleep is important for children's growth and development.

no they ruin the show with their stupid immature jokes. I watch for the celebs and whenever their talking or trying to make a flat joke I sit with a Keith face on thinking next tape can roll on please replace them ITV
