What was our best final 4?
Leona and Fleur are my two favourite past contestants, yet I didn't like any of the other 3 in each of their years. Objectively, I'd say 2010.

Nine times out of ten my favourites are normally out by this point, but I think that series 5, 7 & 8 were the best years for the overall top 4.

Understandable considering how forgettable last year generally was.
I voted for 2010 because it was the only year where I liked all the four finalists but if Misha B hadn't been in 2011 I'd have voted for that because I loved the other three

I voted Series 2 as all four were good enough to have a shot at winning

2007 - only because of Rhydian and Same Difference - most other years only ad one decent act (if that) - 2011 with Little Mix, Marcus and Amelia was a close second
My favourites hardly ever last this long. Brenda, Leona and Saara are the only ones I'd been really supporting who made it.
Oddly Series 4 may be my favourite as I had a sort of mild like for all 4 of them.

2010 got my vote, but '08 and 2011 are close behind. Then a small gap to 2014, then a large gap to the rest. Rhydian, Leona and the current year I would say next, as the standout performers pull the average up, and a combination of Saara and Matt pull the average up this year.
The other years are dire with multiple deadweights by that point. Particularly 2012, 2013, and 2005. Last year of course was The Louisa Show featuring everyone else as extras, and that just made for extremely dull viewing.

Shame Eoghan was there to taint the others. Had Ruth Lorenzo been in that top 4 instead it would've been even stronger.
