Step in Time - favourite quicksteps and foxtrots
Pretty much what it says on the tin. I thought with the last foxtrot of the series and one of the last quickstps next Saturday and them being suitably musical I'd open the floor to people's favourite examples of both.

Just to get the ball rolling I'm not generally a big fan of foxtrots but I liked Alesha's, Tom's and Pixie whereas with QS I liked Matt DA's despite the trip, Tom's again, Natalie Cassidy's - which wasn't the most techically proficient but fun, Harry Judd and Chelsee's Healey's are obvious choices both superb.

Very much enjoyed Kellie's quickstep last year, even though I wasn't her biggest fan. Loved Danny's as well.
Favourite foxtrot is Pixie Lott. |

Danny's QS was brilliant. The only one I've enjoyed as much as that was Chelsee Healey's.

Thought Danny's quickstep one of if not the best seen on Strictly. Outside the main show, I thought Louis Smith's Christmas quickstep was fantastic - and I was not keen on him as a regular contestant.
In regards to foxtrots, I've never found them that entertaining. That said, the one that sticks in my mind is Helen's from last year. She just oozed class. |

Yes, Pixie's Foxtrot ... just fab! So clever and imaginative.
I hate QS's on the whole, it's just manic rushing about. Danny's was brill this year though. |

Quickstep: Kimberley's (perfect characterisation) and Chelsee's
Foxtrot: Chels and Kimbers both looked stunning but Kimbers seemed to have an anxiety attack which spoilt her presentation,a shame given how much I adored her look,Pasha's choreo and the choice of that Adele song. |

Danny was fab - it's been a good year for QS's despite one getting robbed at Blackpool (thank you to the person who posted on a Greg was robbed thread - what him too as well Gorka - it never hurts to have someone to put things in perspective) even Anatasia's was actually pretty good but Danny takes the biscuit for the best by a country mile and I'm not convinced that any of Louise, Claudia or Ore will even come close with their efforts.
fave qs Colin Jackson, Harry Judd and Alesha |

Must also give kudos to Kellie & Kevin's "Nine To Five" QS last year. And, though I can't stand him, I did enjoy Rob Rinder's QS The foxtrot is my least favourite dance style so the few I've liked are precisely that - few and far between. This, however, is my favourite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukh3-i-Z2f0 |

Harry Judd on both QS and Foxtrot.
Lisa Snowdon for both QS and Foxtrot. Pixie Lott for Foxtrot. Danny this year might well have delivered my favourite QS to date though. |

I know that there will be many who disagree with me but this is one of my favourites. Darren Gough
![]() ![]() https://youtu.be/q5indEl3G3o Can never understand why so many dislike him as a winner. He was my introduction to SCD and still holds a special place in my affections. And he was a much better dancer than people remember
