Larry has shown himself to be gregarious but I wonder if his being drawn to the younger ones is be because of his own personal circumstances with his kids ...I still don't like him

I think he was annoyed/upset that one of his lads had gone and that Martin still stayed in! But he couldn't rage at Martin as that would look bad and give more support for Martin. So the only way he could vent was his sobbing session. During which Martin consoled him.
