With all the fuss Mercedes is making over giving up JJ and Lexi and show she is the only mother that they've known, why does she totally ignore her own child? You would think someone who was willing to kidnap someone else's kids and live on the run would at least go see their own child from time to time.

So instead of trying to repair her relationship with her real child she tries to replace him with Joe's kids? That is F'ed up.

I think Mercedes knows Carl and Mitzeee won't allow her to have contact with Bobby. Plus, she believes he's having a better life after everything she did. And isn't Lexi also Freddie's child. It's weird how he keeps referring to her as Joe's kid, plus doesn't seem bothered his daughter is moving over to the other side of the world. Did Joe get round to formally adopting Lexi as whilst JJ would need to go, I would have thought they could have fought for Lexi to stay if Freddie genuinely thought Mercedes could be a good mum, plus he'd still get to see his daughter. I think Carl has periodic contact with Myra or had as he had some respect for her handing Bobby over. All this would be off screen as there has been no recent mention but Myra would likely keep this quiet so as not to distress Mercedes at a guess.
