One family from any soap of your choice!

I'll kick off with the White family in Emmerdale

They'd be one of my least favourites

Probably the Barlows for me, love the new additions and the inter-family drama is great.

Yes the Barlows are quality to be fair

Would still be the Platts for me!!

The Barlows are spoiled by Tracy & Amy sadly, despite my loving Daniel, the new Mr Responsible Peter & Ken!! (Adam has been ruined already by making him yet another criminal as well as a complete to**er!!)

The Platts:

I like the characters Sarah and Bethany, I don't mind Nick, Audrey and Gail, however I'm not a fan of David.

The Barton family.
The dramatic White family are a close second!

The Thomas's in emmerdale, when laurel and Ashley are given decent storylines no one does it better, great pair of actors. I quite like sandy too shouting and all.

I know they're pretty.... controversial... on here, but the Carters in EE remain my favourite. They're a likeable lot (with the exception of Babe, who isn't meant to be) and there's a good mix of personalities in there. And they actually FEEL like a family, instead of a bunch of characters chucked together. I do feel they'll suffer with Lee gone, however.

I like the Platts but I find the amount of stuff that's happened to them over the past couple of years to be unrealistic, they would all be in intense counselling and on the edge in real life.

Apart from Sarah, who's had a brief stay in hospital, the family just act normally and go about their day like nothing's happened, totally ignoring the fact that:

Sarah's boyfriend was killed by her sister-in-law and buried under her mother's bedroom.
Kylie was stabbed and died in the middle of the street.
Sarah was having psychotic episodes.
David was locked in a cellar by his own family, and then proceeded to nearly kill his own daughter and cause injuries to Anna, whilst driving a car full of petrol.

Shouldn't they all be emotional wrecks, especially Max whose biological parents are both dead. Instead we had one scene of him wetting the bed (reportedly) and that's it.

They need to be rested for a year if they are to recover as a unit.

I' d say the Dingles, but it's only really Cain, Charity,Zak and Chas that I like, so half of the Dingles

I liked the original Bartons too

Barlows have been given a new lease of life. Loving Peter's return and the new additions.

I would say the Slater/Fowlers. It with only Martin and Stacey left it would be the Beales

The Carters and Fowlers.

I agree with you on the Whites, the only likable one is Lachlan.

My favorite is the Platts on Corrie but the Barlows are becoming a close second.

The Whites by a distance. Although I think the writing for them has been poor since Chrissie's summer transformation.
The Bartons and Hollyoaks' Nightingales are great too.

The Dingles. But the Bartons have given them a run for their money lately...they just need to stop killing them off or there won't be much of a 'family' left!
