Emmerdale village set off in a bus to view a pantomime in Manchester. They get lost and stop at a pub in weatherfield to ask directions.

Dot wins the lottery and organises a flight for all of Albert square residents to Lapland. Plane develops a fault and crashes onto a street in Manchester area of Weatherfield.
Resulting in a complete street being flattened and a bus load of villagers being involved. Sadly No survivors

I would like Sharon and Ian to be the last characters on the square – following some major development that resulted in the all houses and the vic being knocked down – for office blocks etc.

Ian is aware he has to leave, but Sharon is at the end of her life – with Ian caring for her – she passes on.

Ian breaks down and the final shot of him is him leaving the square via an overhead train with Julia’s theme playing… the credits roll…

A final scene shows Sharon walking through the Vic, with the memorable and iconic moments being played out in audio form only – she reaches the kitchen and its furnished like the in the 80’s when the show first started – and Angie is sat at the kitchen table in her blue dressing gown and Den is at the window – both say ‘morning princess – we’ve been waiting for you’ – they hug and then Den shouts ‘are you coming in or not?’ and (camera pans down to the floor) Roly appears next to a pair of legs (similar to Den meeting Michelle at the canal) as the shot moves up its Dennis Rickman – Sharon runs to his arms and they kiss and the shot goes black…

With the Eastenders logo in white font… and the famous whistle at the end of the credits.

Hollyoaks: Brendan is released from prison and reunites with Ste and they have a huge wedding with all the village in attendance. Myra wins the lottery, she buys a huge estate in Yorkshire called Home Farm and plans to have all the McQueens move in to her new home.

Coronation Street: We see young Ken in 1960 putting the finishing touches on his book Coronation Street, it turns out the entire show was merely Ken writing a book about life on in Manchester.

Emmeradle: Andy returns to the village and gets his name cleared, him and Debbie reunite, buy Butler's Farm from Moira and rename it Emmerdale Farm. Charity uncovers a lost will from Chris Tate that says Noah is the rightful owner of Home Farm. She kicks the Whites reclaims her house. Aaron learns that Robert once hired a hit man to kill Chas and ends things with Robert for good, at the same time Adam tells Victoria that he doesn't want to have a baby so she divorces him, Adam and Aaron get together after a drunken night of sex and decide to become a couple. In the final scene, All will be gathered at Home Farm for a huge party with Charity when all of a sudden Declan walks in with a gun, he points it dead at charity and the screen goes black.

Fantastic

I had an actual dream once, that Neighbours ended because Japanese fascist troops stormed Ramsey street and killed everyone. The last ever shot was one of the soldiers snorting aggressively into the camera

If this was true, Kenny would never have included Tracy.

Re-unite ????? She got pregnant the first time when he was a sex offender. The second time to produce a bone marrow donor.

Why should his name be cleared considering all the crimes he has comitted.

Why wouldn't Ken include Tracy? She is great!

And when was Andy a sex offender?

Brookside: A drug dealer takes over the close, then a company wants to bulldoze all the houses. The drug dealer upsets many of the residents but when he is found dead, it is not certain who was finally pushed too far..
Then Jimmy Corkhill goes mental and writes a D at the end of 'Brookside Close'

She was 15 but yeah, still underage. There'd be outrage if this storyline were done today yet for some reason no one seemed overly concerned back then!?!?

Eastenders: they all realise they can't afford to live in London because they all only work part time in the caff, so they are rehoused in East Jaywick and there begins a series of fights to the death with Dot the overall victor. She stands on the sea front looking at all the tumbledown chalets and raises her clawed hands to the sky and laughs maniacally. Fade to Black

I think a final episode of a soap would have to take place a few years after the soap stopped being shown a few times in a week, to allow the area to have new people living there who aren't characters on the show.

I like the idea of this but I think a "mystery sniper", eventually turning out to be Declan, could be introduced a few months before the end. Once the majority of the village have either been shot or fled, he meets with Megan at the Cricket Pavilion, takes her hand and tells her he's come back to get her so they can carry on their incestuous relationship which started over 20 years ago. Roll the credits.

Sally returns to Summer Bay for Alf's funeral. Realising her heart is in the Bay, Sally moves back into the caravan park house. As the episode ends, Sally walks around the house reminiscing before putting a pic of her and Alf on the mantle piece

Ee final week should end with four weddings and conclude with a funeral in the last episode for queen janine

An alternative ending for Corrie, the streets is bulldozed to make way for a supermarket. It gives a chance for a full on community feel to the last few weeks of episodes, but also provides something final and that the street is gone and prevents someone half-heartedly trying to bring it back in a few years.

After all the unbelievable anguish and agony that each character in Corrie has gone through, the last scene is a crane shot showing that the cobbles and everyone there are actually in the bowels of Hell.

I changed my mind lol

If the soap ended 10 years from now

Id go with eastenders final week having two weddings and a big funeral for dot cotton. Dont want the final episode be too sharon and ian centric though.

Id personally have a wedding for mark jr to tiffany butcher. Id fancy seeing bianca and grants kids gettin married with david wicks, carol, ricky, michelle fowler all returning. With ghosts of pat and peggy sat at the back of the church watching their grand kids.

Id also have Courtney having a baby girl with steven beale - and martine mcutcheons perfect moment song playing whilst doing so.

The second wedding would be for unlucky in love janine to her mr right.

Various stories that lead to alot of families moving away for a new job, retiring and moving, death or moving after a tragic death. The pub should always be sold or burnt down in last episodes.

Another way is to give a happy ending to all their characters in some way. Also mention alot of the past characters.

Another way is to do an episode very similiar to the first episode but with the current characters to bring the show full circle.

That is vaguely reminiscent of the final few months of Brookside. If I remember rightly, Jimmy held a barbecue to discuss how the residents were going to deal with a company wanting to build an incinerator and access road in place of their houses. That final episode really did seem final.

Ken has finally published his book, which is about the History of Coronation Street, although it is passed off as fictional due to how ridiculous the events are depicted. "Haha" laughs the publisher "yeah, like a woman would seriously lose that many husbands in a short space of time! She would have to be cursed or something!"

Ken prepares to go on a book tour and the street throw him a big farewell party. Ken sighs and looks back over the years, to all the people who knew. His family, his parents, most of them long gone...

Ken gets into a black cab and it pulls away from the street. Ken sits back and sighs "I am free. I am finally free of the confinements of the street!"

Then a tram falls out of the sky and squashes the black cab, killing Ken.

Peter pulls a sad face "Aw, dad was in there"

Ian Beale buys a packet of biros, but one of them fails to work. In a moving final scene, we see his emotional distress as he attempts to scribble with increasing frenzy. As the camera pulls out, we hear a 12 minute version of Julia's Theme.
