It looks very strange doesn't it? I think he is going a bit thin on top. He's obviously had it styled in this way, and has had one of those spray jobs to the scalp. He's a bit like Donald Trump and his unique style. You can't see a natural hairline can you?Or where the hair starts and stops.

Either that,or a small dog has died on top of his head

I think the hairdressers are just going a bit nuts with his hair this year. In training and interviews (not ITT) he's had normal kevin hair but for anything show related it's been very... volumized. He's got long hair on top so they're just really going for it and it does end up looking like a comb over. Better to just have it cut. He's a good looking guy whatever his hair is up to.

i think the reason it looks so odd is that the fact that his roots are showing and they are much greyer makes it look as if the poofy part is floating on his head. I think it's his hair though although perhaps aided medically.

He has a wife, a sister and a partner on the show. Why doesn't someone tell him?

He had a hair transplant for his wedding

Because maybe it is really important to him in the way breast augmentation is to some women. Many youngish men really don't want to go bald. In my eyes a closely shaven head in those circs is preferable but who knows what angst it may cause.

Remember Anya? Beautiful woman, had hair thinning issues, what would have been the advice for her?

That's up for debate

I don't think that there is anything wrong with him having a hair transplant or dying his hair. What I think that his friends and family should mention is that his hair style is odd and maybe a change should be made - gently.

What? Anya Garnis? I don't remember her having any issues with her hair!

She coped very well. I suspect hairdressing had more of an issue, as fine hair is also harder to add things to without looking worse. So they were somewhat stymied when it came to the flashy SCD hairstyles.

There was very obvious thinning.

Nah, he's just resorted to that old standby - the Texas Toupee - just not the stestson variety

Course it's his hair - he has the receipt and everything ...

I'm with you there. Kevin is far from my favourite pro but I don't give two hoots if he's wearing a toupee or not. His hair, his business.

This a recent picture of Anya: https://www.instagram.com/p/BJaWp2MD...y=anyagarnisla

I think Anya has fine hair and not much of it but I wouldn't say it's thinning.

This is exactly how I remember her hair on the series (maybe a different colour.) Looks fine to me!

I have one of those hairlines with a weird cowlick and baby hair on one side which can look a bit crappy if its scraped back into a slick comp hairdo. I have one of those swirly hairpieces with diamantes glued on for competitions which I basically pin & glue down onto my hair and forehead.

God I bet I sound as bad as Kevin to the DS congregation with my hair system. :')

This is true, he had a hair transplant before his wedding, nothing wrong with this, but he is very sensitive about it.

In training, Anya's hair often looked quite sparse on one side in particular. It must have been hard for her. The dancers have to have so much gunk and colour and attachments and colour and spray and palaver. Her poor hair probably just wanted to slob out on the sofa with some Argan oil and recover.

Any way, I always respected her for not covering up the problem in training. She was very much 'take me as I am' about it, which I guess is easier when you are as beyooootiful as Anya. It's one of those silent things that must have been there with her and her celeb (Patrick) underpinning the relationship.

Of course he is. Not a very good one at that. It's not a transplant at all!

Does Kevin's hair loss also underpin Louise's relationship with the floor? She's terrified to raise her eyes from it in case she catches sight of his dodgy hairline and collapses in a fit of giggles?

There was live footage where it showed clearly and at the time I remember thinking good on her for not hiding it. I thought she was brave.

I remember that and because she had dark hair then it showed up more. (To be honest, I wondered if it was one of the reasons why she only had one season on the show. She was such a brilliant choreographer that year I was longing for them to keep her -- but maybe it's nothing to do with that. Maybe she got a better offer elsewhere.)

Crossed my mind too. I was perplexed as to why she didn't come back, she was a great addition. Hope it was the better offer.

I'm with you guys. Honestly, I can't stand Kevin, but this obsession with his hair and whether or not it's real is a bit disturbing.
