Of course he is. Not a very good one at that. It's not a transplant at all!
Why do people like to waste their time on these forums when given the correct info

Kevin does not have a wig on him, he had a HAIR TRANSPLANT, it is just a bad one.

I believe you especially knowing your connections, others clearly don't. Also a wig would look less like a really bad comb over,

He's probably still having the transplant. It can't be done in 5 minutes.Remember Elton John? He had to take his topper off at one of the royal weddings and you could, as it were, seethe work in progress.

So Kevin is criticised for his partners, being a favourite, his wife, his sister, his personality, his dad knowing Len Goodman, his opening number high kick, now even his hat and his hair. Blooody hell what has the poor chap actually done wrong???

I don't have a problem with him. I like his choreography and how he brings out his partners. However his hair is distracting. It just is. It's like one of those toupees you can't keep your eyes off.

When Kevin first came on the show he had really bouffant style hair... all that combing and gelling will cause hair-loss at the front over time...

Now though he has a very odd hairline, bad transplant or not it's just like a wig that's been glued on but represents the hairline... if that makes sense and it makes you look at it more then you should...

I made a thread after last weeks Waltz as I just couldn't stop looking at it! So very odd, going bald would be a better option then having a bad transplant or wigs to cover up. He could be having it done still so maybe it's alittle unfair to comment while work in progress.

Whatever his hair is like I love Louise and hope they win!

But that thread is genuinely funny. Has the standard of humour fallen on DS? Looks like it.

Or, are people just a bit more precious about their favs and jump on anything slightly irreverent?
Change 'Darren' to 'Kevin' in some of those posts and then imagine what the response would be if they to be posted today.

I dunno. There is a difference in tone I think. It is more affectionate. To be honest, apart from his hair, I doubt if Darren attracted much comment. He was pretty low key and unremarkable.

Ah, but Darren's friend wiggy was so obvious and mobile.

I am 100% sure that Kevin's new hair style is a transplant, unless it falls off his head and then Louise steps all over it on Live TV while killing the samba. What Ratings the Kid from Grimsby would bring to the show. I hear the real good ones are prone to lice ?

That thread's from 8 years ago when the forum was an infinitely kinder place. Funnily enough, I'm told that Darren didn't/doesn't wear a toupe - perhaps he simply used the same Strictly crimper as Kev.

I'm afraid hair transplants do not grown in to that extent. It's a syrup. I really don't care one way or another. however, why pretend otherwise.

I've only opened the first link. The only negative post is the first one. Posters have sensible demurs and quibbles. The discussion is... sane

Didn't take me long either! (Mostly cos too lazy to open up the other links, which may well be... insane )

PS how is anyone getting the search function to work?

You must have strange privileges. But there again, I forgot the search function seems to be like someone with memory problems. Great for historical stuff, useless for yesterday.

Literally the third post in the first link says "I don't find Brendan gives me the creeps but I do think him very unattractive and his skin is awful! Really bad skin. Plus he's a twit."

Anybody who think the forum was a "kind place" at the tail end of Series 6 is frankly on glue.

Ah, my 'ignore' list... Don't know why I've got that. Opening the cage doors now.

But still, 2 derogatory posts on a two-page thread is an incredible ratio. Isn't it?

Sooo, I tried the second link. Again, there are very few negative comments. Actually, there are a LOT of them but all from the same poster in that case. I wasn't on DS back in those days but it does seem rather gentle -- less entrenched.

I think it's his natural hairline but when he brushed it down and to the side it looke weird like a wig! That's quite a talent. To have natural hair but make it look like a wig! Go figure.

He looks more natural with it brushed upwards.

DS was a much scarier place years ago the BB forum the strictly thread is so much calmer these days remember all the posts about Darren - when I bumped into him and Lilia with my brother years ago the pair of us were looking to see if it was a toupee

It is just the way of social media to discuss these sort of things, remember on Britain's Got Talent when singers Richard and Adam were on it (one of them engaged to someone I know) Adam came into a lot of stick re his weight- Richard being slim and Adam was considerably bigger but papers and social media gave him hard time re his weight - really cruel stuff compared to what gets posted on here, comments like who ate all the pies was one of the kind ones so Adam started dieting and ended up quite under weight and over a stone lighter than his brother - he has it in control now and has evened out to a similar weight to his brother - but these things can affect the people they are written about

Kinder, I said - not kind.

I've tried all sorts but always steered clear of Bostik. How about you?
