She is such a boring character! I can't believe this is the same actress that played Kim Tate in Emmerdale.

She'd have chased them round devs with a sawn off shotgun

I've noticed they're giving the twins more screen time lately. Hate to say it but I really dislike them.

That's what acting is - playing different roles. The fact that the characters are so different is a good thing as it shows the actress is doing her job properly.

She probably would of be better off back ED for all the screentime she gets.

Oh yes! Imagine her taking over Homefarm with a new super rich husband and family.

Such a tragedy that an actress of Claire King's calibre is being given such garbage by Corrie.

As I've said before, Corrie has an abysmal track record of casting soap legends in new roles and then completely messing them up ...

There are probably more but they are the ones that spring to mind.

I think that's the problem - that they're casting these very well known soap legends in the first place. I couldn't take to Stella because I just saw her as Cindy Beale and Stella was so bland in comparison. Same with Erica/Kim Tate, I'm a bit young to properly remember Sheila Grant but I'm sure others struggled with Gloria for the same reason. Had they been played by lesser known actresses maybe viewers would have took them a bit better. If they're going to cast a former soap icon in a new role make sure you give them a big character to play so viewers aren't reminded of their old one. I cant watch Erica without thinking 'I wish Kim would return to Emmerdale', just what I thought about Cindy when watching Stella onscreen.
