That sort of 'fun', if that's what you want to call it, then yes...usually about 10 years old!
What a sad state of affairs.

I have never been a fan of Carol's but I saw a completely different side to her since she as been on this programme, she was fun witty and appeared to have a very calming effect on the whole group..I was hoping she would make it to the top three..

I asked you a question. I didn't say anything about your opinion **ROLL EYES***

By your logic am I not allowed an opinion.
Oh do forgive me.......I must have imagined the underlying criticism for me daring to express an opinion which clearly you disapproved of! ROLLEYES

I wasn't. I was venturing my own opinion

I didn't realise that I needed your approval to do so or reply to posts.

By your own admission you were asking me a question (in your 1st post). To which I replied, ''IMO''
You clearly didn't like my response.
At no point in my posts did I suggest you weren't allowed to have an opinion.

You then commented on another poster's comment, so you clearly didn't like their response either. But that was their opinion which you disagreed with. So I'm not really sure what your beef is about.

I shall stand by my comment........I personally think she looked ridiculous skipping about the jungle, I thought she looked ridiculous when she was hopping around like Skippy too.

I loved the way she threw herself whole-heartedly into everything that came her way. A great person to have around, and I never heard her being bitchy about anyone either.

A lot of people think she just did the numbers on Countdown, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
This. She put up the letters as well.

Yes definitely, shame that there are a lot of jealous women out there and wanted her out! I gave her my 5 free votes each day. Lovely lady and deserved to stay much longer!!!!
The jealous thing is so babyish.

I liked her a lot more than I thought I would. She came across very well, though the edit restricted our chances of watching her, and didn't deserve to go before the likes of Adam, Scarlett and Larry.

I thought Carole did really well in there and as you say she should have been still there, while most of the others werent nearly as good as her... shame she went, Im surprised, I became quite fond of Carole, who didnt come from a well off or show biz family but still made it on TV.

We voted the other night to save her and wished we had last night too, shame she has gone. She receives such awful press but I thought she came across really well.

I remember when Countdown first started, Carol only did the numbers, and there were a couple of other women doing the letters. Eventually, Carol took over the letters when it was discovered that she knew her alphabet as well.

As plain as day i can remember ch 4 launching and Richard Whitely on Countdown and something about what you just said is ringing bells, about her just doing the number bits. Who on earth did the letters?

I thought Carol was really nice in there. Haven't got a bad word to say about her. It's a shame that she had to leave.
