I think it was Foggy who got the bug in his ear, though I could be wrong. I'm surprised they aren't given nose clips as well after the Fatima experience

I though about nose clips but that would mean them having to breath through their mouths and then they'd end up swallowing the critters.
I guess the chances of one going up the nose are relatively small.

Hard to say as grabbing the stars as they tumbled back and forth left it down to pure chance which ones they'd catch

The trial was fine..but there was one key element that made it way too hard...the stars being numbered.

They should have just put a tick or similar on the back of the winning stars and let them collect them in any order. They went the ordered number route purely because they have been doing too well.

Absolutely, I'd wager they wouldn't have been numbered had Adam and Scarlett were doing that trial

Did anyone else notice that one of the stars was wedged in the equipment behind Joel? I'll bet 5p that was the one they were struggling to find.

My memory was spot on for once! It was Antonio Huggy Bear Fargas:

From Wiki
"The eleventh bushtucker trial of the series was titled 'Fill Your Face' and was contested by Antonio Fargas. He won 4 stars. After the trial ended, he famously bluffed his words and said "There's a celebrity in my ear!". He meant to say there was a creature in his ear."

But they could have made it more difficult at the last minute by adding the 40 blank stars. Probably didn't but just a thought!

That was a horrible trial! I think it must be one of the worst they've ever had, almost impossible to have managed to get all the stars.

I'm surprised they don't have ear & nostril plugs, that would be one of my worst fears if I was ever crazy enough to do the trial in the 1st place. Which would never ever ever happen!

Aye wasnt a nice one at all felt for them both, especially when it went on for so long, it wasnt much fun at all for them or to watch.

It was a horrible trial, and I don't know how they managed to be spun around without being sick, I know I couldn't have done it. I felt sorry for them!

I found it quite tedious. Also I do think it was intentionally meant to be hard because I notice there's been a lot of chat online about trials being too easy this year. I don't know, but I haven't really enjoyed the last two trials. The one with Jordan and Larry was so dull and drawn out. It seemed to just go on and on without anything major happening

I can imagine that trial being very difficult. Having to listen to a question, okay. But then having to work out the answer while trying to avoid the nasties coming down. Also, only having a very short amount of time to find the right star before they drop back down again. Yeah, it looks to have been quite difficult. I have doubts that Adam would have gotten the number of stars to 8. He could have been joking though.

designed to be failed - questions were too hard to know, turning and insects distracted them, iinsects hid stars, The producers wanted a change from full stars every task - so they gave them an impossible one.

I do agree it was doomed to fail, however, I'm quite sure the producers had no idea when designing all the trials, that they would have had such a determined bunch who would win just about everything thrown at them.

All of these trials are thought out a year in advance.
