Why..because he doesn't suffer fools and is being himself.

For a man of his age, he's made himself look a fool with his spiteful 'chats' about Martin!

Not really; he's just shown that he doesn't suffer fools or people who just make noise or act like a relentless child. Why should he pussyfoot around him if he doesn't like him?

Then maybe he wasnt right for the jungle. Martin has changed and wants to be friendly, Larry holds grudges.

Why is he not right for the jungle? £just because he doesn't like your favourite?

Larry can't escape Martin therefore I'm sure had he actually got space he'd be able to unwind from the relentless child.

Larry to win

MArtin doesn't hold a grudge because he doesn't listen or pick up on other peoples signals as pointed out by others. He is too wrapped up in number 1

I don't see him as a likeable character. He's a control freak who has to be the centre of attention. Then he has the nerve to say Martin wants all the attention. Go figure.

Regardless of his dislike of Martin, Larry comes across as a sour old gimmer. He seems quite resentful, at times, that he's in the show.
if he wants out he should do one and I'd cheerfully boot his arse to hasten his exit.
The thought of him plonked on the throne, crowing with the jungle crown on, is a definite no-no from me.

Larry is the one acting like a child. Snubbing people, relentlessly whispering about someone behind their backs isn't mature, it's childish. 😉

Agree with this. In fact, on the 'childish' list, I think Martin would be fairly far down the ranking.

There's Larry the school mean boy
Then there's Adam, who acts like a particularly immature 14 year old
And of course we have baby Scarlett Awwww!

Martin's a picture of maturity, relatively speaking.

Nice thought and not only for Larry, but I fear if he doesn't escape soon he might just go completely ga ga.
Loved him in the fishing trial with Martin aimlessly plodging around in the water making it worse, but conveniently centre stage, while pissed off Dad got on with the job in hand with gritted teeth and took another few steps round the bend. Couldn't have happened to a more suited pair. Pure panto

I think you are wrong in that respect because he does seem to suffer Adam the fool rather gladly

was quite funny with Larry in the tiny boat looking so fed up and Martin being Martin, hahaha, Larry wanted to be away somewhere else, anywhere, while Martin was enjoying playing in the puddle

He probably thinks that a man in his mid 50s should be past that sort of thing though. I have to say I agree with him. Martin doesn't irritate me as much as he did at the beginning but I'm not living in a confined area with him 24/7.

Great description. I wonder if Larry switched his hearing aids off for the duration.... 3 1/2 hours listening to that drivel would have had him drowning himself in the pond.
