I've been quite critical of Stacey in the past, but this was a very interesting documentary. I still think she should be more impartial at times.

Did anyone else see it?

I couldn't think of a more ironically titled TV programme, given some of some of her previous documentaries.

They always start off with the 'mission' style of documentary where she purports to go and earnestly learn about something like a wide eyed innocent and educate herself, and by the end the documentary the conclusion is always drawn that it's a very bad thing and we should think of it as a very bad thing too.

I suppose that the title is supposed to mean Brainwashing Stacey as if Stacey is being brainwashed. But really it may as well mean Brainwashing Stacey as though that's what she does. There goes Brainwashing Stacey, doing her brainwashing again.

She doesn't have one to wash. Worth closing BBC3 just to get rid of her.

Totally agree, she must be the beneficiary of some kind of secret BBC inclusion scheme.

When I first watched Stacey, I genuinely thought it was a mockumentary.

In fact, I think I still thought that she only did mockumentaries for several months until it gradually dawned on me that she had thought she was making a serious programme.

Well, no; for me that her topic was a bad thing was always a given, and she never pretended otherwise. For me her strength was not in big picture analysis but in showing some of the human costs. I'm not her target audience but I don't mind her making these programmes.

I've not seen this "Brainwashing" one yet, but I have an interest in the subject matter.

She tries to do a 'Louis Theroux' were she acts all innocent and like she doesn't understand what is going on.

But she has her agenda already and tries to steer things that way.

She's as fake as some of the people she investigates.

I quite like her shows. I think some people are put off by the girly voice, but I enjoy watching her as much as I do Theroux - even though they're totally different.

Awww I quite like Stacey. She tries her best. She'll never be a Louis Theroux but she has covered some interesting stuff in the past. I liked her one on Luton.
