She's never been this insensitive, daft. This thing with her and Jimmy is way out of line, Bernice knowns Nicole is uncomfortable and suspicious, but she still continues her closeness and whatever it is with Jimmy. It's not innocent incidents sny more,and it hurts Nicole, but Bernice doesn't seem to care.

It seems like such a long time ago when Bernice was effectively the central character of the show around the turn of the millenium. She has been demoted to a daft, slightly insubstantial vehicle for comedy fluff. Do you think the 'demotion' in status bothers the actress?

The sisters have stabbed each other in the back more than once over the years over men. This isn't out of character at all.

I love Bernice and Nicola so I don't know who to cheer for, Bernice deserves a nice man, Jimmy is a nice man. Nicola doesn't treat him well so I can see why his eye is roving.

They definitely haven't done her character justice at all. Bernice is one of my all time favourite characters and I was thrilled when they brought her back. And I love her humor and being a little bit of a ditzy flighty woman, but why she is not treated as the substantial long-standing character with the history she has, really puzzles me too.

She was really good in the storyline with Lawrence though.
