Its probably a factor - but behind the editing as one. Emmerdale characters used to attract the votes almot automatically on Dancing On ice - same channel - similar time slots . Hayley almost won the, Champion of Champions, last series, even though she was the second weakest skater there. Though she got the judges support, and the better , lass challenging, routines, ,too.
