Why what happens with the Whitney story

Any addition can only be a help at the moment as the show really is terribly boring at the moment with each storyline more dull and boring than the other and i am a huge fan of the show but i am struggling to sit through an episode at the moment.

Not really. They sacked Kathleen Hutchinson after four months.

This role also involves overseeing Doctors and River City. It's nothing to do with whether SOC is 'struggling' or not.

I think, at the time, it was a case of "do we really have to tell this story on a soap?".

I remember reading Yorke talking about it.

I thought she left of her own accord. And that what it basically implies on her wiki page. Plus the fact Eastenders won best soap under her reign.

She always been a controversial producer, I'm surprise she still gets employed in this field tbh.

Why what has she done that has been controversial?

If they have no faith in SOC then they will get rid of him, simple as. The entertainment industry is notorious for being harsh. The BBC certainly wouldn't pay out more money to create another post simply to keep an eye on him.

Sounds like a good move by the BBC, Oliver Kent is a decent enough producer and Holby City is continually great each week, really love watching it. Not sure on Casualty as I have not seen that since the helicopter crash, and Doctors and River City are decent enough and are well liked by other people.

Who's so many people? Let's not kid ourselves that digital spy has influenced the decision

She was only at EE for a few months, her way of doing things wasn't well received apparently before she moved on.

This has nothing to do with how well or not well Sean is doing in the eyes of anyone. This is BBC restructuring at its finest. Oliver will also oversee Doctors and River City and that is that. End of discussion. Close the thread.

I'm surprised that Oliver Kent is staying as EP In casualty and holby.

He has series producers under him though doesn't he? Sure that has been mentioned in the casualty threads

I've seen as many positive comments about the show on social media. Either way social media means nothing. The ratings are stable that's all they care about.

Another layer of management, just what a show with a skeletal cast requires

There's also lots enjoying the show though, and it's been praised in other quarters.

Of the 6 or 7 million viewers of the show, only a small portion will actually use social media to comment on the program.

Well if there were, going by the budget constraints currently, it'd probably be a little toy helicopter and it will probably break a window. Will life ever be the same again for the residents on Albert Square!!!
