Which one butch? Or tricia? Or someone else ?

To be fair I like all of the dingles apart from Charity and Marlons brother Eli, I wasn't so keen on him.

My thoughts exactly and also the smilies you used were very apt for Debola

Great news . Emmerdale's leading lady has been sorely missed. Looking forward to seeing her again .

Love the extreme reactions on this forum. Is there a more divisive character in soap? .

With Cain in his caravan. All mod cons and a live in babysitter; what more does she need

Debola is a mardy cow for sure and an annoying one at that, but for some reason I actually don't mind that she's returning. I kinda miss making jokes about her parenting and wondering why she never smiles.

Also, I don't mind her and Ross as a pairing . I guess I just enjoy watching him wind up/get on Debola's nerves and I think they could make a good criminal double act. Mind you, Ross's been softened up quite a bit lately now that he's firmly established himself as a Stay-At-Home Daddy to Prophet Moses and left carjacking behind. But I think they can work provided the writers don't go down the predictable route and make them have another tedious affair. They could be like how Donna and Ross were, an exciting pairing.

Debbie is a joyless, sour, bitter, crooked, lazy young woman with no redeeming features.

Looking forward to her lighting up the room again and cheering us all up in the new year along with Aaron and Ross :/

I can't say that I've missed her, but I'm fairly pleased she's returning. At least we might get some relief from the endless Jimmy/Nicola farce, Tracy and Kerry.

And, as has been mentioned, we can all enjoy the child-dumping jokes again.

She's one of the shows worst ever characters.

Agreed and even she will have to improve the current awfulness!

The only redeeming feature of Debbie returning will be if she also brings back the inimitable sulky pre-teen madam Sarah, and her infinite disdain of her mother's tedious love life. I've missed her.

The actress has been on maternity leave and a year is common for that in many jobs.

You think she might have adopted her out while she was in France?

I'm willing to bet that Sarah and Jack both have new heads upon their return.

I hope they recast Sarah, the actress is terrible and now she is older she could have more storylines but they really need someone who could act. Mind you Debs can't act either maybe they could recast her too, we live in hope!.
