These deals never seem that decent do they. Perhaps we should check each off against the disc version for comparison:
Amazon, same version is £24.99 with added artbook https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rise-Tomb-R...omb+raider+ps4 |

sure but take into account those of us who account share and pay only half. so when your looking at deals 2 copies of the game for same price please.
For the record I'm not saying it's a bad sale price, I'm just interested in tracking it. I've noted that most of the time the "SUPER SALE PRICE" is usually merely dropping to physical copy prices rather than actually being "cheap", so wanted to see what the reality was through this 12 days of Christmas. |

Sure, but that goes for any price, not just these sale games. If the game's £45 RRP on PSN then you're already getting it cheaper than physical copy.

sorry wasnt getting at you personally, i have brought it up in loads of threads when people complain about prices on PSN compared to physical copies being so much cheaper.
Remember when they used to let us share between six PS3s?! Ahh halcyon days... |

Well I succumbed and bought ROTR. Not too sure when I am going to get round to play it.
Probably the same time it bloody finishes downloading. (Arf, Arf!) |

Well it depends on your broadband speed, you've obviously got a super fast one. Downloading 21GB on a medium or slow connection would take a long time.

I bought it too but it only took about 20 mins to download and install. The game is only 21GB.
I find after 6pm PSN crawls to about 1 MB/sec tops and it takes ages - whereas if I download in the morning it is between 3-5 MBs/sec Although my work place was even slower yesterday it was downloading stuff - we needed for work - at a whopping 25 kbs/sec. Our network is not very good. |

Deal #2 will be Fallout 4
(£13 on Amazon, though. They'll have to go some to beat that.) You have until 2pm to bag Rise of the Tomb Raider. |

The better value sale seems to be the buy one get one free at the moment. Witcher 3 is on there for £24.99 which I've always wanted, so can get that for £12.50 if I can decide which other game to get from the selection. Nothing tempting me though, maybe the Hasbro 4 in 1 collection to keep the kids amused.
