Last deal is live. Final Fantasy XV £32.99

January sale has started too. About 500 games discounted up to 60% off.
Fair play to SE for having it in the PS Xmas sale, But at that price its better buying the disc. I got the special edition the day after release due to supplier error. It only cost £3.70ish more than the sale price.

The cheapest you can get it I believe is around 39 quid. £32.99 for Final Fantasy XV which came out about 25 days ago is a result to be fair.

Edit: Actually £35 on Amazon at the moment, pretty good deal there too.

I bought Resident Evil 4 for £7.99

Yes it's the January Sale price but I thought I'd pass on the news.

Bought Rise of the Tomb Raider in the Jan sale, wouldn't mind Dying Light as well but might leave that until new year. Got plenty to keep me going for a few week.

The tomb raider is tempting at that price. I have 33 quid at CEX though and was waiting it dropping in price.

Tempted to get Salt and Sanctuary, Resident Evil 4 and the Blood and Wine expansion. Already got Until Dawn the other week from the US store for around 8 quid.

I'm getting the FO4 'Far Harbour' expansion.

Also a great deal on Mortal Kombat XL - it's available for £14.49 with Plus. However, I already own Mortal Kombat X, which I can trade-in to CEX for a £12 voucher (or £8 cash). So I'm getting the Mortal Kombat XL upgrade for a couple of quid, instead of the £9.49 they're charging for the upgrade pack!

Got GTA III for PS4 at only £6.19, and the trilogy is £15. Worth it to get these games in 1080 on a convenient device, San Andreas's countryside scenery in particular is amazing, and now I'll jhave no use for the SD versions on PS3!

Nice trio. Dying Light Enhanced is a marvellous freeroam blast. I bagged Darkest Dungeon and Witcher double dlc.

Just purchased Bloodborne for £15.99.

Haven't played it before and never played a souls game either so not sure what I'm letting myself in for really!

Now, just need to wait 44 hours for it to download due to my poor Internet speed (one of the main reasons I hardly by digital)

A world of pain

Nah not really. The difficulty's often overstated but it's probably From Software's most accessible game and is still my favourite exclusive. Enjoy.

Thanks for the heads up. I tend to play most games on the hardest difficulty so hopefully I will get through it.

With regards to the download. I've noticed it actually says 4 hours until I'm able to 'start the application'. Does that mean I can start playing it? There's 30 hours remaining for 'all' data!!

Yes you can start to play and it'll download the rest in background. Unless you're a really quick player you probably won't catch up with the download.

P's. Thank yourself lucky you have a ps and not xb1. My son got one and I'm shocked at the slowness of installs on that even from disc.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm looking forward to giving it a go once the kids are in bed.

Yeah I've heard they are bad on the XB1 when installing from disc.My Internet speed is only 1.8mb so my downloads speeds are shocking online. It really puts me off buying digital.

Meanwhile I'm getting bored of Skyrim. Turns out I miss the guns of Fallout etc. too much. Just not a melee guy I suppose. Perhaps I need to turn my build towards magic or something. Dunno, I'm so used to the Commando build I'm not sure where to go.

Might pick up Doom in the sale.
