For me it's Samba all the way. It's so different, Oti took a risk and it paid off.

For me even as a Danny fan, jay's dance all the way. Just purely for my original reaction to it. It's a classic

Easily Danny's Samba for me. One of the most memorable dances there's been.
Plus I actually preferred Jill's Jive to Jay's anyway

Difficult one.
IMO Jay could never have pulled off that Samba but Danny could have danced Jays jive. For that reason i've voted for Danny. It has to be said though that the samba had nowhere near the same impact on me as the Jive did. |

I don't understand the obsession with comparing dances that have nothing to do with each other. They were both amazing in their own way.

C'mon jiroos, you can't compare a jive with a samba.

![]() And, from the poll results, it would seem at least 25 FM's (including me) disagree with you... |

Unfortunately Jay isn't within touching distance of Danny when it comes to performing a routine.

That makes sense as you're comparing two dances of the same genre but jive and samba are as far apart as they can be. Other may be happy to compare but I just find it odd, sorry. It's like comparing a cow and an electric guitar.

Danny and Oti's Samba.
Everything complimented everything perfectly - the music, the performance, the outfits, the dancing and they both looked like they were loving every second. Although, I do have to say Jay's Jive was amazing and is right up there with the best this show has produced. |

These are the two most highly-rated dances in the history of Strictly so far, both eliciting very similar praise - that's what they have got to do with each other.

Loved them both... lots but it's the samba for me...I'd rather not choose though as they are so different. I think the jived were compared this season ...did Jaliona do a samba though I can't remember?

Very different dancers, Danny's a good hoofer and Jay's incredible dancing has artistry and a cool vibe. Danny dances with his feet, and Jay with his soul.

Oh, no no no. Why must you do that to me??
![]() Way too close to call, and also two totally different styles of dance, so it's too hard to pick. |
