Not desperate at all....

Even if Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers could rock up on Strictly, Jay & Aliona's jive would still win hands down on these forums...

What gets me is, the title is as clear as day, I've apparently got an obsession which you don't understand but you people STILL open the thread AND comment...in some cases more than once...

Something's not right there, honestly...

Okay. I must've missed the part that said only comment if you're in full agreement that this poll is justified. My bad. I thought that as a forum member I could chip in with my opinion on any thread.

Really?? I had no idea I was being asked for a preference, silly me. Thanks for putting me straight, what would we do without you.

Apparently not, snide remarks seem to be being made to everyone who thinks this poll is stupid and a waste of time and has the nerve to say so.

Danny is technically a better dancer but I never feel anywhere near the emotion watching him as I did whenever Jay managed to nail a dance. And Jay was cooler. Much cooler. Although nobody is as cool as Oti.

Isn't there a thread specifically dedicated to the moaners, or am I mistaken?

Perhaps they've found new residence in poll threads - lucky us.

Interesting poll, Jiroos! Not quite the disparity I was expecting.

Danny's Samba.

I mean I liked Jay's jive but I've always felt it's far too overrated and there's personally been a few Jive's I've preferred but Danny's Samba is quite possibly the best ever on Strictly.

Apologies, didn't realise your permission was need to post in here, maybe you could let me know what threads I'm allowed to post in.

Why is it that when you don't have the same banal opinion as others is it considered moaning.

Forgive me for thinking that "omgzzz, another polllll?!?!" is becoming a forum platitude...where'd I get that from?

At least this thread is comparing/discussing the dancing. Despite my having said the dances are not comparable, I still prefer threads like these to many of the others I see on this forum.

Interesting interpretation - not complaining about the quantity of the polls, usually just ignore them, just complaining about the quality of this one, but thanks for your over reaction 'omgzzzz'.

Well, I'm never one to pass up a hyperbole

Anyway, of course anyone is welcome to post anything, anywhere. I just need to meet my daily grumble quota

Yes, of course you can Kitty! In normal circumstances, that is.

But with some unless you play their game they throw a wobbly.

It's a forum and therefore anyone who posts here should be able to handle the response they get.

That is not always the case!

I do it simply to amuse myself because I have an opinion but I also appreciate other people's views too, and I won't be told what to do, or how to play

Both the dance of their respective series, quite close for me, but it must be the jive.

Jay's jive was over-rated IMO - it was good...wasn't great - there were way better.

Loved Danny's samba, it was brilliant plus I think Oti is a fantastic choreographer

It's just people reacting to the OP's plethora of Jay polls:

Jay's Jive Or Ore's Jive...settle the score.
A Test of Technique: "Jaliona" Jive or "Doti" Quickstep?
Jay's Jive or Danny's Paso?
Will Danny "do a Jay" and get the ball rolling with 10s in week 3?

Maybe we need a poll to see which of the OP's polls is the ultimate Jay poll?

We had no idea how good Jay was going to be - people were predicting scores of low 30s tops for it. By the time Danny did his samba, we were well aware that he was the ringiest ringer that ever did ring.

Meh didn't like either of them
Obviously both were well danced but I can't see myself ever wanting to watch them again.

Jay's was performed in week three after he'd had two fairly mediocre performances. Danny's was in week 10 after a number of pretty outstanding ones.

Personal subjectivity always provides us (generic) with an opinion that fits.
