I wonder how the 'lads' will react to his leaving. I think Sam and Scarlett will be fine with Martin but they will probably bitchy towards him
They will go to pieces now their camp dad has gone, and they will blame Martin, obviously.

The funny thing is we might be in the minority. Loved Scarlett in her trial and so didn't like her in between - don't mind who wins but preferably not Scarlett

Nope! I'd like Scarlett to win.

To be honest - Wayne, Adam and Joel are worse than Larry. The snide little shits who hang out with the school bully - but have no balls of their own.

I hate The odious Larry with a vengeance, but his henchmen are starting to really grate now.

"You really upset me. You left me out".

Are you for real?
Oh I would have just loved it then if Martin had said "That's because I'm the daddy now, and you're just my little whiney bitch".

But of course he wouldn't say that.

Carol suggested that Larry picked on Martin and that there is a lot we don't see, which makes me think Larry has been much worse. Martin to win

He's picking on him deliberately safe in the knowledge that his sheep will back him up if need be. Nasty bully, hope he's out next.
And it certainly came across as passive aggressive when HE told Martin to not go on about it when Martin offered his moral support and reassurance.

I still think it's suspicious that their dingo dollar challenge ended in broad daylight but it was pitch-black when they came to Keith's Hut. The others alluded to how long it was taking, but it certainly was NOT dark when the dollars were released.

However most of the camp reaction to how long it was taking was in the dark, which suggests a long, long period of time between the dollars being released to them getting the call from Keith.

I honestly think there might have been a big argument or at least a lot of Martin-Larry interaction off-camera in the interim there. SURELY it does not take that long to go from the DD clearings to the the kiosk.

Larry's behaviour was pathetic.

My theory is that they're trying to bully Martin to be quiet and not make noise so that he gets no airtime and is kicked off. I'm really glad he hasn't surrendered and is still being chatty.

It's a shame Larrys gone. I was looking forward to his next imagined crime for Martin.

So far we've seen him lose it because Martin had the nerve to say "shall we draw straws"? Then he appeared to be on the verge of tears because Martin had the audacity to selfishly tell the camp what happened in the dingo dollar challenge.

If only he'd stayed one more day. Maybe we could have seen him throw a punch at Martin for having the gall to say "good morning" too loudly.

On a more positive note Larry will be delighted to learn that Jordan is still alive.

I do wonder if Larry will change - or at least moderate - his tune towards Martin in tomorrow's interviews once the PRs have briefed him?

He didn't do anything, Martin did all the work. Larry just sat in the boat like he sat in the chair for the other trial. Does he think this sort of behaviour will endear people to him.
Martin was right to claim all the credit.

after living with a parent for 10 years with you know what I did think of it when Ant and Dec were interviewing him
In the very early stages before were realised my mam used to be obsessed with young people and always wanted to be around them

Its as though she loved being a parent of young adults and wanted to be part of their lives

her own children got it in the neck but her grandchildren (aged between 20 -30) and their friends were treated like royalty and nothing was too much bother for them

It honestly did cross my mind

Larry seemed to forget that he was on camera. Unfortunately, the viewers saw the way he was with Martin during that Dingo Dollars task. He didn't want anything to do with him, wouldn't interact at all. Yet he wanted to go back into the camp holding hands when they got the scones. So annoying!

Everyone knows Martin can be a bit annoying & I think he's been trying his hardest not to upset anyone but unfortunately for him, he does appear to be one of those people who no matter what they do, it's wrong, not good enough etc.
Therefore people are going to be a bit snippy with him especially in that environment but what really made me uncomfortable was, this wasn't a spur of the moment reaction to something he'd done. Larry had clearly spent hours thinking about this & just had to make a big deal out of something & nothing causing Martin to get even more flustered.
There was absolutely no reason for Larry to mention it, what purpose did it serve other than make Martin feel bad.

The kiosk in darkness happened too on another occcassion a few nights ago so dont think its been a fight between them that caused it, twice Martin tried to celebrate with Larry and was ignored after the task.

"You really upset me. You left me out".

Are you for real?
He worded that badly!
His point was blatantly obvious. Yet again Martin automatically took centre stage for his own glory and as usual any idea of teamwork escaped him.
Why should they all have to spend their time parenting a socially inept attention seeking child? Carol had it down to a fine art but it's totally unrealistic to expect everyone to be the same.

He didn't do anything, Martin did all the work. Larry just sat in the boat like he sat in the chair for the other trial. Does he think this sort of behaviour will endear people to him.
Larry did a lot of work to help the others in camp, as verified by camp mates who've left. He's nearly 70 FGS. What do you expect, Superman? Leave that to Martin.
I'm expecting him to try that tonight in all of his attention seeking glory. Or will it be Tarzan, swinging through the trees hollering over everyone else.
He's tried everything else and his OTT performance last night was cringeworthy
At least he'd changed his game from the petulance of the day before after he was one of the bottom two. Let's see what tonight brings

Martin did all what work? When? I must have blinked!
Larry caught all of the fish, Larry solved the puzzle which Martin was struggling with.
Martin played around in the background with his chart for the dumb, inanely jabbering non-stop of course, with bugger all else to do. Then he had to carry on trying to be centre stage by playing in the water, arsing about, still jabbering about nowt and achieving nothing apart from making the job harder. It's not surprising it took over 3 hours.
I'm surprised Larry didn't try to drown him.
Maybe resuscitating Martin is why they took a long time to get to the hut

Larry is a nasty, spiteful, curmudgeonly bully who acted like a child in a playground, picking on Martin and trying to get everyone to turn against him. Shame some of the campmates fell for his nasty tricks. I bet he was one of the nasty kids at school!

I admit I did think Martin was a bit irritating at the beginning (probably still would a bit) but after hearing his stories from his youth and seeing how he's trying very hard to fit in, I've warmed to him and think he's settled in quite nicely. He's kind and gentle. He was the only one (apart from a bit of Scarlett's pizza) who offered to share his treat with Adam and Wayne when they lost out. Adam and Wayne moan about him, but were happy to share his Camembert!!

I used to like Larry years ago, but he's been a guest panellist on The Wright Stuff several times, and my opinion of him changed a long time ago. He's up his own backside, quite frankly!
