In tonight's episode he tells Martin he was upset when Martin walked back into camp first with the chocolate scones after they won the task. I do think Larry is playing a good game, he knows Martin has been up a few times now and each time he's stayed in. He doesn't like him so he's trying to turn his fanbase against Martin. He really wants him out doesn't he? Also to say he was upset makes me laugh, Larry is a man who comes across as quite confident, cocky and likes to refer to himself as being a king or whatever, so to say he was sad is a bit of an exaggeration! The other day he was happy sitting there with Wayne having a bitch about Martin. I don't think he felt 'sad or upset', more like he felt 'pis*ed off', the upset comment is just for sympathy from the public. Poor Martin he never meant it deliberately. Also he said he was upset as they did the trial together but the whole time he was just shouting at Martin or getting annoyed by him so sorry Larry, not really buying it. He detests Martin and saw an opportunity to make him look bad.

Of course he wasn't upset - he's trying to nab a few victim votes while at the same time isolating Martin.

I agree with both of you. Luckily other ppl will have seen through his game plan. Bless him, he has got it bad against Martin. If he felt they were a team he would have high fived Martin back...so transparent. Its time now for Martin to tell him a few home truths of his own.

I don't think Larry is clever enough to scheme anything, he's just a condescending self-important alpha-male indulging in playground bully-boy behaviour.

This basically. He's just an arrogant tosser who's probably always behaved in that kind of way and got away with it. Thing is he won't get away with it on a reality televison programme. If really was as bright and cunning as the the OP is claiming he wouldn't have made his dislike of Martin so glaringly obvious.

And ITV have shown it all

Larry is a control freak - a nasty piece of work, who likes to manipulate people. He's old enough to have had lots of practice, so he's good at it.

ITV are not showing Martin in a good light either, did not even bother to show him in that boy"s montage.

He's definitely gone tonight. I really hope when they have the reunion party he takes his wife and kids somewhere nice for the day - and stick two fingers up to the rest of these ******* (apart from the girls of course).

When someone said Larry was in the show, I thought oh good I like him, now can't stand him, he is so mean and miserable.

He seemed pretty annoyed to be asked about Martin just now - as if that was distracting from the attention he was getting being interviewed.

Larry should grow up, he's a pain in the proverbial.
Sniping at every opportunity. I hope he's booted out.

I liked him before this show. After the way he has treated martin though, I really have gone off him and am so glad he's out! Martin to win for me. I really don't think he's that bad. Wanted Joel to win before but I feel like him, Wayne and Adam were on Larry's side against Martin...They're not as obvious as him though. Anyone but Scarlet ...please!!!
