Can't believe these 2 have one of the main storylines before christmas, that gormless **** shaqil should have been the first to go does SOC seriously think this is good enough leading up to christmas? im writing him off right now there's no way he'sright for this job. I cant see it improving either because its the whole pace and feel of the show that has completely changed it just doesnt feel right, im not looking forward to anything because there's no momentum building its just dull, its like a daytime tv soap under SOC.

its boring SOC Is in need for a wake up call this is 2016 not 1985 times in soap has changed I know DTC was bad but unlease he made the episodes entertaining

Wasn't a fan of DTC but would take his show over this dull,damp squib of a show SOC is producing, i've never felt this way about eastenders even under kirkwood and newman there were still at least some decent storylines to invest in.

Not my favourite current Storyline

I thought tonight's episode was powerful and thought provoking, the reality of what joining a transplant list involves and the Bex / Shaqil story escalating.

I'm finding it quite interesting tbh, the only thing I don't like is bloody Louise and her stirring.

Well EastEnders was never meant to be over dramatic in the first place.
Someone came in down the line and gave us drama one Christmas and from that day on. Fans expect that all year round.

Can't stand the Sleezebag. I can see this going down the revenge porn road. I hope Shakil goes this relationship is toxic and disturbing. Bex should have dumped hin when he asked her for nudes.

Louise is driving me mad with her stirring.

Here we go again with this type of comment, not asking drama all year long but something exciting once in a while would be good, i honestly cant believe this SOC guy thinks this is an acceptable storyline for this time of year, its permanently dull.

She is a right stirrer, but I can't help but like her. She is a smiling assassin.

The storyline highlights something that sadly happens in real life.

It's quite a realistic storyline.

I felt so disappointed in Bex that she caved in. It would have been better if she had said no and dumped him.

such a shame, that she can't see him for the louse he is.

I thought it was great how they did it and handled the issue pretty well. It was a shame Bex decided to go ahead with sending a nude to Shakhil, as you can see how it will end with the whole school seeing it. It is an issue and has been for a while, however when TV shows try to portray teenage stories based around sex they always have an icky and awkward factor to them, regardless of what it is. Going down the nude pic angle is quite a good twist imo, as these sorts of snaps ruin lives. It happened to one of my friends in school, where everyone saw a snap of her intimate area and she was bullied for it so much she tried to kill herself.

Even though it's not really a high profile story, I'm glad EE are portraying it pretty sensitively and in a thought provoking manner.

I think Shak and Louise might get it on behind Bex's back.

1985 was good. It had stories and great characters with rich backgrounds, played by good actors. My main problem with the show right now is that I am either past caring about a lot of the characters, and dislike almost all the rest.

The Phil storyline is good, except there is a 95% chance of a happy ending. I therefore cannot invest in it which is a shame as the Mitchells are currently the strongest group of actors and characters. The story is being well done but there is no way they are getting rid of Phil, Ronnie and Roxy. Unless of course they want to kill the show as all the other families are too splintered right now. Get rid of Phil and the Mitchells will become several splintered small families too! So no I cannot get into Phil's story as I almost certain of the outcome. It is an important story too, so it is such a shame that it was leaked that Ronnie & Roxy are leaving at New Year.

Louise is the weakest Mitchell. Can she run away with Shakil and come back with a new head in a couple of years time please?

Shakil and Bex are just boring unless it is leading to the sleazeball's exit. Hopefully that is where this story will end up.

Lee should be a good story. I can relate to his depression but I can't relate to his lies and crimes. Whitney and Linda are not ogres. Instead of stealing from his mother, he should be confidng in her. If she was a horrible mother who he was not close to, I would understand his fear.

With Lee I have gone from indifference, to boredom and now dislike.

Something tells me she won't send it.

We all know how its going to end, but if people are stupid enough to do that kind of thing then they have to be prepared to face the consequences.

It's one storyline for 2 members of a big cast and under SOC, everyone seems to be getting their fair share of storylines and screentime. Sexting is something that probably happens or thought about now more these days, especially with teenagers who face all kinds of pressures.

Yes, if he gets even a hint of what's going on, he'll beat the gormless sleazeball to a pulp.

That would be the highlight of the Christmas viewing.
