You are the head of the Production team for 2017.

Budget isn't increased so we can't go for mega stars.

Who would you choose to be the first 5 celebrities you would get signed up?

To start us off, mine are.......

1. Claudia Winkleman (2 reasons - she seems very "clumsy" so needs some discipline, and secondly, we could move Tess back to the Clauditorium and get a decent presenter, doing us all a favour!!)

2. Neil Morrissey - have seen him perform live which totally changed my opinion of him from MBB

3. Jamie Peacock - Rugby League legend....would love to see one of our recent retirees proving how very light on their feet they can be

4. Holly Willoughby

5. Philip Schofield - to provide that fierce competition with his colleague

1. One of the actual Thunderbirds

2. Michel Roux jr or Monica Galetti

3. Andrew Marr would be interesting and it might be good therapy for him?? It would be genuinely useful to see his progress

4. Sandy Shaw, the older, graceful, gracious, wonderfully intelligent lady

5. Julien Baptiste off the The Missing. (No idea how to spell the actor's name). Or Kim Bodnia off The Bridge. I will vote for either like a nutty voting machine

ETA instead of 1. Maxine Peake

Not sure if any of these count as 'mega stars' but ...
1. Dawn French
2. Keeley Hawes
3. Chris Hoy
4. Adam Woodyatt
5. Holly Willoughby

I would love Marian Keyes to do Strictly and be partnered with her favourite Pasha!

I know him from his films. He was a big star actor. Bigger than Mads Mikkelsen at one point! If we are going for foreign men, then I suggest Tcheky Karyo who featured in this series of The Missing.

That chap that played Montalbano - the older one.

He's just delectable, and his legs are rather bandy which would make it amusing.

What's not to love?

Happy days! Didn't realise Baptiste was the character name. I love Tcheky. He is such a versatile actor with bags of charisma but not so good looking that he's typecast. You've got to see him as the ultimate psycho in the film Dobermann. I'm so happy that two of us want him on Strictly

I have a real girl crush on Monica, love her!

Makes 4. I'm still worried about whether he's going to survive that operation

There's a body of opinion on Twitter that says because he withstood the anaesthetic right the way down to '3’ there will be a third series.

For once, I want the wild conspiracy theory to be true

Add me as a 4 for Baptiste. He has charisma in bucketloads!

Shia Labeouf, he could 'just do it'.

Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold) because it would be fabulous to have a metal musician learn ballroom.

Tony Robinson
Tomasz Schafernaker
Miranda Hart
Sue Perkins
Mel Giedroyc
Marian Keyes (with her Little Pasha, of course)

Pretty much any Friday Panel guest from ITT, except Jack Savoretti who hadn't a scooby what he was doing there.

The obligatory Eastenders person.

Edit: Being from Norn, would have to throw in Jimmy Nesbitt as well for the laugh.
