Three Feel At Home- Japan?
Hi all,
I am hopefully jetting to Japan later next year and I wondered if there is a chance that Japan will have become a Feel At Home destination on Three by then? I know Hong Kong & Australia has and they are both not exactly in the EU (maybe slightly cheaper because of this) but they are still about as far as Japan. i.e on the other side of the world? Is this likely to happen?, as £3 per MB is veryyyy expensive! Regards |

cant say 100% but i doubt its in their plans, you could look at getting a prepaid sim when you get there though you can get a 1GB sim for about £20 still not the upto 12gig you'd get on Threes FAH, but its a few P per MB VS £3

Thanks for the reply. Again, I hope they do..
As Aus & HK are both Three FAH destinations, I just wondered network wise, how much more would it cost them to 'use' it? (Japan specifically) Regards |

It was 7 years ago that I went, and I think I was still using a Motorola Razr at the time, so that's probably why I didn't couldn't' use it. Obviously things have moved on since then! |

Either buy a local sim and pay a bomb for uk calls
or do what most do when there on holiday is turn on aeroplane mode on and use the hotels free wifi or areas that you are in that offer free wifi and use services like three stay at home or other wifi calling apps or whatsapp snapchat viber or apps to that affect |

Some details here about buying a local SIM: http://prepaid-data-sim-card.wikia.com/wiki/Japan
Note: You'll only be able to get a data SIM if you are not a resident of Japan. |
