There is a Vietnamese restaurant at the King's Road end of Sydney Street, Chelsea, named Phât Phúc.
It always makes me smile, apparently the correct pronunciation is Pat Puk, and it is alleged to mean happy.

We use a one-man transport firm occasionally and he is called C P Duck Transport.

His first name is Chris, making him Chris P Duck.

Similarly, a Richard Soul would be Mr R Soul.
I also met a girl called Angie Hoare, who hated being A Hoare.

The olympian Robbie Grabarz always makes me snigger
I noted that the commentators always make sure to pronounce the Z quite clearly

I also used to know a Mike Hunt, must be fairly common.

There was that webpage for some American high school yearbook thing from 1993 that was doing the internet rounds about 14 years ago; sadly it's no longer accessible. It did contain the rather sexily named Demetrius Breedlove.

It also contained the unfortunately named Ginger Minge.

Who later got married and became Ginger Box...

I worked with a bloke called Dick Funnel for years, never totally got over the childish giggling.
I worked with a Dick Funnell (2 L's!) at Croydon council from 1972-75. Was it the same one?

Years ago, I worked with a woman called Shirley. When she married, she became Shirley Worley (the names rhyme).

Then they bought a house in Purley.

The most famous Mike Hunt in the East Of England from a few years ago - https://youtu.be/Z9kb-RcAFvs?t=3m33s

Always referred to as Michael!

Which leads us nicely onto baseball card legend Rusty Kuntz - yes, really, you can look him up (carefully...)

Yearbooks are a ffertile source for this sort of thing, from the infamous Jesus Condom to a white boy named Rowdy Negro (yearbook quote: "Yes, it's my real name"). Not that teachers have it any easier - I've also seen shots of classes apparently taught by a Mr Perv and a Mrs Rape...

My first day at school in a new country - my teacher was Miss Poulou and I sat next to Johan Fuchs. Makes me giggle to this day.

Tokyo Sexwale - he ran for FIFA president recently. Apparently Tokyo is not his real first name though.

Dick Pound - he is something to do with athletics/swimming. Sounds like a 1970s porn star.
There could have been a shop named after him.

I found the name Eric so funny that I gave the name to my budgie when I was 8. I still do find it a bit funny.

I only knew one Eric myself, a boy in school whose name was Eric Rice. His surname being an anagram of his first.
I wonder whether he ever met Edwina Currie?
