They are saving it for a bit later - they know he's going to be a finalist, then he can do ANOTHER big flashy number and people will love it.

Food for thought. I'm going to remember this... because I wouldn't know which nail to bite.

Oh, and another thought that just struck me - if they try to protect Ore next week, they could well risk a Danny vs Louise dance-off. So I'm more and more inclined to think they'll throw him under a bus.

I think he's in the dance-off next week unless he's top of the table, and with his lack of dance experience and (somewhat of) a day job going into two-dance week *and* a samba I don't see that happening. From there it's whether they let him go or keep him and they just seem more interested in the other three. No idea who the dance-off will be against because it's hard to tell where the others (particularly Louise) sit in relation to one another popularity wise at this point. I'd say one of the girls rather than Danny though. Danny's got a great draw if he does American Smooth and Salsa. Could easily be 80 for him.

As always though, stranger things have happened when they get a bug in their ear.

(I think the smartest thing for the producers to do would be to ditch the dance-off on grounds of "fairness" with only 4 couples remaining, cut Ore without revealing the Bottom 2 and have the most competitive looking finale possible. So of course they won't)

I personally think the BBC has engineered the results

a) by putting Cliftons with the most able dancers but it blew up in their face when Will Young walked after only doing about three weeks.
b) by introducing the Cha Cha Cha challenge and undermarking Ed Balls so there was no way he could survive another week.
c) unfair judges marks - hugely biased towards The Cliftons and Oti
d) grossly overmarking Kevin and Louise and Danny and Oti

James Jordan did hint at what really goes on and somehow I don't think he is wrong.

Now the lovely Judge has gone I think I am going to route for Claudia but it is a waste of time because I am sure Kevin and Louise will win - because it has been pre-ordained by the powers that be.

It's a shame these four aren't all in the final.

I posted something similar to this earlier, which is why I don't think they'll risk it, unless Louise has somehow lost their favour...

Who are we thinking is topping the public vote then? I really think it could be any of Danny / Claudia / Louise. I say Louise more just because her vote hasn't really been proven to be poor, i.e. she's beaten Ore and Claudia in previous weeks.

If it's Claudia, she must have had a pretty hefty turnaround from Blackpool week, as she was bottom or second bottom that week.

I think that after Will pulled out they've tried to run the rest of the series without changing anything - hence why it looks like we're still not going to have a clear third place in the final, but two joint runners-up yet again. So I think they'll have a dance-off as usual.

Louise ultimately needs to win the public vote fair and square to take the glitterball.

I think a Louise / Ore / Claudia final would be the worst possible outcome for me personally now. It would come across as a very Clifton vs Clifton final, with Claudia to make up the numbers. I prefer Louise to Kevin and Jo to Ore too, so that would put in a bit of a quandary!

I'm hoping for a Danny / Louise / Claudia final. Although to be really fair to Ore, if he can pull something like his AS or Jive out of the bag in the semis, he could be onto a surprising winner. Claudia has had two exciting, vote-winning dances in the last two weeks (Salsa and AT) which may have peaked her popularity slightly too soon.

Claudia lost to Rinder and Ore in the public vote at Blackpool, and she's managed to beat them both since (she was above Rinder last week, and she was definitely above Ore and *probably* above Rinder this week). So she may well have managed a comeback.

As much as I like Claudia, she's had two dances in a row where she has been able to wow people with lifts (and lots of them). She's not got any of those dances left. She's going to have a rumba which I don't think she's going to be 'soft' enough for (plus they seem to have put her firmly back into kid mode after the more adult AT, so who knows how they will approach it), and either a Tango (direct comparison to Louise) or a QS (which I can't see being her dance because of the height difference between her and AJ).
I think she could have the lowest scores in both ballroom and latin next week.

Danny is getting at least half the public vote. It's a foregone conclusion who will win exactly like last year. I stopped voting for him a few weeks ago as he was topping leader board and didn't need my votes. Last two weeks split my 6 votes between Louise and Claudia. Voted for both of them all series. Just want to see them in final.

She had a poor dance in Blackpool and many were shouting she was overmarked so wasn't surprised votes didn't go in.

How exactly do you work that out? We know very little about Danny's public vote - the only time he was in danger was when he mucked up his Foxtrot on Halloween, and his survival there could still have had him quite low in the public vote.

I agree. It's worth noting Ore was low on the leaderboard in Halloween week too and survived - he's since been in two Dance Offs. So Halloween week doesn't actually show much about the public vote. And if the public are continually told that Danny and Oti are being overmarked surreptiously (Karen on Choreography Corner, Brendan in his blog, judges 'spotting' mistakes on Len's Lens etc.) they could be losing support rather than gaining it.

Speaking of Danny and Oti I wonder, if they make the final, whether the Judges will choose tonight's Tango over the Foxtrot? It's just how Craig said "you won't get ten's until you correct your footwork" which made me wonder how he would get the chance to correct it? Unless, of course, the Judges pick it in the final.

Going to 2 dances can often make a difference. Those who don't polish off a dance now are even more unprepared. I think that will most effect Claudia and Ore.

Ore has the advantage of s better choreographer. But Claudia has the "she's cute" vote.

It also helps the celebs who have experienced pros and know how to 'hide' flaws in dances. So Kevin is onto a good thing as he can choreograph a salsa or samba that will help Louise get through by putting in just enough content to keep the judges happy and leaving the rest to entertainment. Oti and Jo are both in their second main series so are learning how its done, although perhaps Jo has the edge because of more involvement in the show overall. AJ is in his first year and will need to pull something out of the bag to showcase Claudia equally well twice in one evening.

It was time for the Judge to go. It has become very predictable. Ore vs Claudia in the dance off next week. Ringer Danny bound to win the final.

I stuck with it and gave up at the claim of bias towards 4 pros. I am not sure you can have a four way bias.

Yep that would be my prediction too. Who goes next week will depend on which dances they get, how crowd pleasing the routine is and if thre are any incidents.

True... I believe Claudia top the voting this week.

Since day 1, Danny always have the most viewed on facebook and youtube... but since last week Claudia was increasingly closing the gap... then this week Claudia is now the most viewed and Danny is second...

So I believe the public is now warming to Claudia, if she continue this momentum... she could win it.
