Caitlyn & Nate - The Underdogs Xmas single
http://www.tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv...-number-1.html
The lives could have been done with their singing quality. |

I agree, both would have improved the show immensely!
*tries to resist saying told you so to a few forum members who went by the terrible edit on the show and didn't believe me when I said Nate was one of the best who ever auditioned* ....

Caitlyn is sooo unlikeable.. I can't bear her! There's a reason why she wasn't picked for the lives. She's desperate for fame, it's so cringe. Sure she can sing, but she's just a nasty person.

What a ridiculous unfounded post. She showed no bad behaviour in the VT she featured in and acted with dignity when she was stitched up at JH. I assume you're referring to the bully story hear'say which hasn't been substantiated by people coming forward in the media. All the contestants in the lives are desperate for fame! We have more evidence of Honey G and Gifty's dislikeability and they were picked for the lives. |

It will be ace if it does better than the winners single. In fact it would be hilarious.

How does releasing a song with a fellow reject under an independent label warrant a "I told you so" moment?!
![]() I really hope people buy this single instead Given Nate's amazing voice Caitlynn's lovely voice, and the X Factor's track record for singles at Christmas,I think they could have a shot if enough people go for quality over hype. |

I think they need someone respected in the industry to give them a bit of backing and publicity otherwise people won't get to hear about it. Their own twitter accounts won't be enough.
Could be time for a Richard Branson Liberty X moment (as Cowell would say ![]() Either way I am expecting some impressive vocals. |

LOL it won't even put a dent in the top 100.
But good luck to them, Nate was the best singer of the series and it's a joke that Freddy and Ryan got a place over him. |

Didn't you say somewhere that you were Nate's vocal coach though?

Yes That is how I know he has a nearly 4 octave range and is *that* good. I have worked with a LOT of vocalists over the decades and he is the most amazing of them Not just his rare talent and Sam Cooke-esque with a modern twist voice but his innate musicality his love of and dedication to music , and his spirit .Singers like Nate do not happen but once or twice in a generation and many who( unlike me at this stage) can actually do something about it are as impressed as I was when I first heard 15 year old him sing .I helped him, yes, but he will and deserves to succeed far beyond my modest success, and I could not be more proud of Nate as a human being as well as an artist

Having said that I don't think they should be making it like a novelty sticking-it-to-the-man type single to keep x factor off Xmas number 1. Both should be thinking about a longer term career in music. If it's good people will buy it and the next one as well. |

I hope that they will get good promotion for this as it really could put a spanner into the works of XF.

Are you seriously comparing a ten-a-penny session singer on a quest for instant fame to one of the greatest vocalists that ever lived?
