Hard Drive for XBox One
My son wants a 1TB external hard drive for his XBox One. Given my long history of buying the wrong thing, can I buy just any external USB hard drive, or do I need to look for something special ?

Here is the official guidance from Microsoft about the requirements of the drive.

Don't stick at 1TB, get as big as you can afford.

Any USB 3.0 with more than 256GB will work though they do an official one which according to some reviews ive read recently is pretty good and loads things quicker than the internal drive.
2tb one is about £80 http://www.argos.co.uk/product/4611378 |

Got a Maxtor Ext Drvie 2TB via PC World for £68. I know you can get it cheaper online about £10 but I wanted a quick fix for the lack of space. Works with no issues.
Don't see the point buying a brand Xbox version to be honest.
