Erm, everyone else?
I, for one, agree wholeheartedly with Anne's perspective on Martin. As for condoning bullying, seriously, give it a rest. Martin's exit interview where he still clearly thought Larry's antagonism towards him was because he saw him as a threat tells us solidly where the real delusion lies. The only thing you're 'clarifying' is that his supporters support his delusions. |

I agree as well. I think Larry let himself down at times by letting his frustration at Martin get the better of him but living with someone like Martin would try the patience of a saint.

Just read the first page of this thread & pretty shocked at the comments about Wayne
![]() What did he do wrong apart from chatting to his best mate in camp at a situation that was bugging him? ![]() ![]() I really, really liked Wayne, he had so many good qualities. Caring, funny..... Remember when Martin first entered & he was being a pain in the butt & everyone was irritated by him, he obviously sensed this & Wayne went over to comfort him, a kind thing to do. How can some FMs call him vile, snake etc Don't get it

He hasn't the awareness or ability to either think before he speaks or as he showed in camp, time when he speaks. He's in there like a bull in a china shop. What will he fantasise about in tonight's interview? Without doubt it will be something predictable. I've worked as a therapist for decades and I've met few adults who fail to relate to others at Martin's extreme level. Remember when he invented the gloating stuff to get attention and cause trouble ? He even invented Danny's hand gestures? ![]() Quote:
I agree...how awful to have to put up with a bloke who shares his food, banters and helps the ladies out.
Come on! ![]() I doubt if he has the first idea of who himself is and sadly three weeks on a reality show won't achieve that for him. |

Staggeringly arrogant self delusion, 10/10 for that one.

Or why some are taking as gospel the word of an ex gf not exactly known as a paragon of virtue who may have her own agenda to push

Maybe it hit home with Wayne who was the best daddy in the world, or so Larry thought but as an oversight forgot to tell his ten year old son that he was going into the jungle on his birthday, so Martin was right about what he said about them playing for the camera.
So Wayne's being blamed for Larry saying Wayne was the best dad in the world despite Wayne never suggesting he was and therefore Martin was right because of some random tabloid rubbish about Wayne's son which meant Wayne was playing to the cameras?

Im sure some posters on here come as part of a double act.
Why can't you allow people with a differing opinion to agree with each other without needing to denigrate them by making an unpleasant personal remark? However I'll choose to take that as a great compliment as it's viva you're referring to .

There are some very intolerant people about, both here and in the "jungle".
Must be great to be so perfect and not have any social flaws. Quite sad to read some of the sactimonious twaddle that has been written by people who should know better. |

There were a few overnight personality changes in that time, but of course he's being himself. Come on! ![]() I doubt if he has the first idea of who himself is and sadly three weeks on a reality show won't achieve that for him. |

Really? In my world I believe things when I see them or have incontrovertible proof. I'm far more interested in why a Martin admirer also needs to stoop to making a nasty false personal accusation against anyone. And I'm not a Martin admirer. I just don't like to see people being picked on. |

What's not to get? Slagging somebody off behind his back then being nice to his face is vile and snake like to me. Martin didn't even mention Larry and Wayne and Adam shocked that Martin appeared glad that his nemesis was booted out...pair of sneaky, naive gits.
Yes he could have said stuff to Martin but perhaps he preferred living in harmony & realised there would be no point, as for being nice to his face, would you have preferred Wayne to be unpleasant to him & make Martin's experience miserable. BIB Sorry you've lost me. You're last sentence is, imo, ridiculously harsh. |

You can't be serious, he chatted to his mate about something that was annoying him to get it off his chest & that's vile?

I read the Martin hair transplant thread and was surprised that some seem to know him and his wife so well that they seem to have privy to quite personal things; back and arse hair shaving on a Sunday night, no less, and then a good dusting of talc.
Also, they seem to have been in his year at school and he must have told them what his thoughts were at the time too. Really insightful stuff and couldn't possibly be guesswork. Of course, seeing actual footage of Wayne saying the public needed their heads testing, because their opinion differed from his, didn't happen. |

He'd already contributed to making Martins existence miserable!!!! Like I said earlier, him reeling off a list of camp mates who had been booted off saying Martin should have gone instead of them didn't suggest he was a nice person. As for the vile word, why get so upset about an adjective? I can change it to sneaky if you like.
No need to change your words, they don't upset me in the slightest. I'm just confused as how you can class Wayne as vile so, crack on. Off to watch. I hope you enjoy. |

I know what you mean - Wayne did whine a lot. |

No, he really didn't. He cried twice at the start, he didn't whine, he got stuck in and looked as if he was having a great time.
