I thought it was him too! But as you say I can't see why he would be doing it. Unless Lee did not know it was going to happen but did recognise him and that was the point of Lee picking up the wallet as he now has proof; and I wonder if instead of going to the police Lee will blackmail him?

I did get the impression that Lee knew who they were and was in on the robbery the way he told them where the money was.

It was the call centre guys - the credits confirmed that - but as to whether Lee knew in advance, it didn't seem clear. He certainly wanted Whit out the pub quickly but I suspect he just recognised Oz's voice. It's perhaps all part of making Lee's life hell inside and outside work (dunno why, for their own enjoyment presumably) but the wallet may allow Lee to get some revenge via blackmail or something.

I hadn't seen EE for quite a while before last night's episode and, although I didn't know who the intruders were or why Lee was involved with them, but it was very obvious that he knew them and was in on the plan.
