We've already answered this, are these Remoaners academically challenged?.”

Why does having a different opinion make people "academically challenged"?

I disagree. A soft Brexit of the kind numerous politicians are calling for is not a Brexit.

If it were a failing marriage it wouldn't be a divorce. It wouldn't be a separation. It wouldn't even result in anybody packing a bag and leaving the house. It would be the equivalent of sleeping in the spare bedroom. That's not a divorce and a Brexit that sees us remaining in the single market isn't a Brexit.

For those for whom things like the single market is a redline, the only way they can cling to the illusion that they respect the decision is to accept that they are living in a fantasy world inside their own heads that is completely and utterly removed from reality.

They can't be both.

Yep quite a triumph through following pro European policies the Lib Dems having taken their number of MPs from 57 to 9. All hail the Lib Dem cunning plan...

Well, it looks as though they're on the way back after a horribly low point in their fortunes.

And yet when trevgo has repeatedly taken the exact same attitude the silence from you has been deafening.

I wonder why.

You and many others may not be happy with a soft Brexit, but the country simply voted for what was on the ballot paper - to leave the EU. A soft Brexit of whatever kind still means we're doing exactly what people voted for - leaving the EU.

Nick Clegg getting a roasting on the Sunday Politics.

Just shown up saying the leaders of the Remain campaign didn't say that we would leave the Single Market. Then gets shown a load of clips of them saying that it would mean leaving the single market.

I thought Nick Clegg destroyed Andrew Neil. Destroyed being the word that seems to be used now.

Diane Abbott now proving why Labour are going to lose the election.

Calling people racists for no good reason.

I voted to remain but wasn't offered the chance to say that I wasn't necessarily happy with the terms of membership. My vote wasn't an endorsement of the current arrangement anymore than a leave vote was for a hard or soft Brexit, so if we're going to debate what was or wasn't on the ballot paper we can't simply question one side of it.

We were offered a binary choice - in or out. Cameron told everybody that was the question he'd put to the country. It wouldn't have been news to the EU. If they had reservations about a binary choice perhaps they shouldn't have sent him away from his pre referendum renegotiation with such a shite offer.

Complaining about it after the event is a redundant exercise imo.

I didn't, I thought Nick Clegg looked panic stricken and floundering, he had nothing of substance to say

The only thing Nick Clegg destroyed was his own political career. He simply did it in a more nuanced way than his grinning goon of a leader destroyed his.

No sh1t. You type that as if I commented without watching it. Nick just provided ever more layers of troll fodder on to the ever growing troll pile of shite for the trolls to feed on for the next few months. It's not even professional trolling, we have to rely on cheeky photos from Trump and Farage to actually provide entertaining trolling. I never thought Vicky Pollard actually represented a completely different 'class' group (self declared that is).
An interview (and despite clearly presented evidence) of yeh, but, no, but, yeh... AN's job is actually quite easy at the moment, "run the VT."

That'll be because you are relatively normal and wish to partake in actual real conversation.

If anyone thought Clegg did not fare well, what about the disaster of Abbott, she was dreadful?

But you claimed it was another universe!

Is that partaking in a normal conversation?

Is that what you mean (admittedly I tend not to pay much attention to DA anymore, but I did watch the VT!)

...and you thought Clegg destroyed AN, is that partaking in normal conversation? I like to meet people at the level they demonstrate themselves.

That (Clegg "destroying" AN) clearly did not happen, AN argued the undeniable, Clegg denied and but, but, butted. I know what I saw... in this universe.
