Am I the only one who isn't too bothered about tonights show now Ed has gone? The show has lots its shine and spark for me now, and without Ed has the potential to be boring with the couples that are left.
I feel a bit the same this week but mainly because the show is so short and I'm not keen on musical's I'm looking forward to next weekend with two dances per couple.

I don't get why they didn't leap on the opportunity of Will's withdrawal and turn tonight into a two dance week. That way the couples wouldn't have skipped any of the dances.

Cloudia and AJ are looking amazing in their lion hair and makeup according to the pic posted on the BBC Strictly website.
2 lions dancing Amazing Salsa reminds me of this...

I'm another who's feeling that way, and a further factor for me is that Daisy's also gone.

I'm still some interested in seeing what Claudia does, and to an extent Louise and Ore, but there's nothing I'm really looking forward to. Danny's a good dancer, but I don't enjoy his dances very much, and Rinder annoys me. (Is that everyone?)

I know it's madness and with the extra work with staging, backing dancer's etc for musical's week you would think they would want to make the most of it rather than just have five dances.

I do agree, I don't see why they have to do just the themed dance, surely they could do another as well?

Will's exit was poorly planned I feel.

Yes, as long as they don't add any weird headgear between now and the show, they look great

Would they be able to even if they wanted to? I don't know how these things work, but if the celebs are only contracted to learn one dance a week until the semi final maybe the BBC can't change it.

Danny and Oti may not be everyone's favourites, but one thing they are not, is boring.

That is for anyone who loves to watch great dancing.
For me, the quality of the dancing isn't all that matters; and when I'm keen to watch great dancing, I wouldn't turn to Strictly to see it. I generally ignore the pro dances on Strictly even though they're closer to great dancing than the ones the contestants manage. The pro dances are good as dances, I suppose, but they aren't the sort of thing that interests me.

OMG... less than 30mins to go and I'm excited!

Go Claudia and Aj... show them all how to Salsa!

Not like it was the production teams idea though! I can't really think of a way of working around it that wouldn't provoking negative comments. Bring a contestant back - "our votes were meaningless then! A week with no elimination - what's the point of the results show? Two dances too early is too hard on the celebrities.

No, you are not the only one. I enjoyed watching Ed's attempts at learning to dance, (however clumsy they might be) and his obvious enthusiasm. Much mote than watching the 'professionalism' of Danny, who made dancing look easy and effortless from day one!

I agree about Ed but not about Danny, I just LOVE dance in general, whether you are good or bad, what I like the most is, if they are TRYING. I think both Danny and Ed try hard.

Danny is NOT A PROFESSIONAL DANCER.

It's the Quarter Final stage though - it's only one week earlier than normal. Maybe you were right before and it's in the contract that they only have to learn X number of dances but it's a pity. Maybe the show should have held the Cha Cha Challenge back until tonight as it feels very short at only an hour long.

Or maybe they could have put Musicals Week last week and they had 2 Normal or 1 normal and 1 dance fusion dance this week.

I guess they wanted a 'normal' week after Blackpool, hence the gap.

It's the Quarter Finals - they should be mentioning this.
