No it's not an opinion but an observation which wasn't fact. You always make snide comments about Ore ALWAYS crying when he isn't, he's only cried TWICE !!!

Danny or Claudia to win it for me. Heck, even Ore (now he's stopped crying) can win it, as long as it's not Louise

I hope so too.

agree wholeheartedly with you, hope producers take note too, and in 2017 we get celebs with no dance experience so we can watch the journey *sorry*
Oh wouldn't that be nice?

An even playing field where we can see EVERYONE'S journeys as they move from hesitancy to confidence, not just carefully placed stage-school alumni, who have had years of dance training as part of their course work, and so make it seem effortless.

But I suppose the judges have an innate fear that someone they snobbishly regard as a 'non-dancer' or 'comedy act' makes good. They have their little pet favourites from the start who are shamelessly lavished with praise and high marks (despite obvious mistakes, which are NEVER mentioned in case it loses them votes), and it leads to a mighty boring semi-final and final. I won't be watching either.

It's fine to have an opinion, but to post almost identical sneering posts in half an hour?

He's already married

anyways, I'd rather Ore went out with dignity than using a sob story trying to get votes, this isn't X-Factor.

As another poster said earlier, this will be a tough week for Jo and Ore, as they won't have a lot of time to rehearse with other commitments on both during the week

would you change a format that delivers over 40% when your job is to maintain if not increase the viewing public

Which goes to show most people don't watch for the dancing skills. But for the clowns who entertain who quite rightly should be gone by this stage if the competition

I like a mix. Triers like Ed, "journeyers" with no dance experience like Ore and Claudia, and the more experienced competitors like Danny. I'll always root for the ones with less experience though.

You have to realise right from the start that there's no point in pinning your colours to the mast of an obvious non-dancer, the fat comedy contestant and the over 60's, thinking they might win. They are there to make up the numbers. They have their place on the show but it's right and proper that the Final has the better dancers in it fighting it out. And you will be watching, you know you won't be able to resist

I think the mix works. All learners and you run the risk of them never getting good, and not having enough people willing to try. All stage school people and then it's a real popularity contest, and gets bitchy. What I think they simply need to do is make the public vote count more. Either only the public vote counts at first, the scoring is just a guide, and then the judges can save someone, or my preferred option no dance off after half way, the one with the lower support goes. This way the judges have two bites of the cherry and it's too much. These dance offs where one knows they are dancing their last dance are miserable. (That is not about Ore and Robert, btw. Either might have got more votes than the other, I'm not assuming that one way or the other. I'm thinking generally.)

Being an Ore supporter since week 1, it breaks my heart to say this but I've resigned myself to the fact that Ore will be out next week
Well, he won't be first on doing a foxtrot to with big flowers getting in the way and a lot of standing around, so that's got to help, and he might get sympathy for being in the b2. It was far from his best dance,. It should have been great, but the staging killed. Potentially he can do much better next week.

it's between Ore and Claudia, but we have no idea how that's likely to go till we see the music.

I've only just finished watching the show and while Ore definitely was the right one to go through I am going to miss Rob Rinder so much. What a lovely, grateful and generous person he is.

Strictly will be a little duller now for me.
