Freesat Android app new beta version
Freesat is now testing an update to its Android Freesat app. If you are a user and want to join the testing programme you can sign up although there are apparently only a limited number of spaces available.
This is the link to the Google Play Store to access the beta version: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.re.freesat |

The current app's TV Guide only lists Now/Next and Later Today. The new app gives a full TV Guide for the next 8 days (as in the EPG): Now/Next, Today, Tomorrow, then (e.g.) Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat allowing the flexibility of being able to program recordings for a full week in advance via the app whether you are at home or away.

You can also control the stb and start playing from the app, although that seems to confuses the stb "audio buffer decoding underrun" "this channel ID scrambled out not available" 🤔
