People repeat that they like Christmas on every thread on the subject, so what is the difference?
The difference is that 99% of Christmas threads are positive, so it's entirely appropriate for people to post that they like it. There's also nobody forcing you to enter Christmas threads.

How do you know that someone doesn't like Christmas? Because they tell you every chance they get.

Our tree and deccies went up last Saturday. Our little girl helped decorate the tree and loved every minute of it. We played around with the decorations and tinsel and it was such a lot of fun.

When the tree was finished and we put the lights on it was like a moment of magic for her. Didn't we all feel like that when we were little? And isn't that why we love it still, when we see our own children's faces light up with joy?

When we'd finished we put a few presents around the bottom of the tree and every day we put another one or two there. She's clocked onto this and when she thinks we're not looking she rummages around the increasing heap of parcels. She's getting really excited about it all. Oh to be (nearly) four years old at Christmas..!!

Probably will put the decorations up this weekend. I think about two weeks before is more than early enough! Have put them up about a week before the past couple of years. Makes actual Christmas seem more special and not dragged out, like being stuck in some kind of never ending Christmas season!
