Personally, I admire Rachel for her maths prowess and not her figure or looks, but that's just me.

I hope the production team eat it after they go of air. Some expensive ingredients in most of the good cooked. Dam shameful
I remember one chef in an interview saying that the production team on his shows all had pockets full of cutlery and as soon as filming had finished they descended on the scran like a horde of locusts.

Ever since the dawn of celebrity in the early part of the last century, beautiful and popular women have always had a tiny portion who "don't see what the fuss is about" and moan whenever they're mentioned. As if to imply the majority are deluded in their appreciation.

Doesn't really change anything for all the rest of us. We'll just carry on admiring her because she's gorgeous and talented.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say. If we were all attracted to the same few women then mankind would have died out many moons ago.

You see this all the time on television. Celebrities who are reluctant to eat anything on television. As though it's bad manners or bad etiquette.
It happens so often, and when some celebrity is asked to taste something and they hardly touch it and put it on a plate saying I'll eat it later or something I'm thinking just get it down you!
They act as if normally nice food is like excrement to them that shouldn't pass their lips.
Rachel Riley suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, hence why she has to be very careful what eats.

I also like fine dry aged beef and a good bottle of Cotes De Rhone, so what that got to do with anything.

Just cos I'm not slavishly devoted to a blonde hostess doesn't mean I'm that odd,

Well, that's a matter of opinion. Who do you think is the fittest?

I think there's 'slavish devotion' and then there's a bit of mild perving. I might also lust after a McLaren F1 or a 40 year old Ardbeg, but I'm not slavishly devoted to them.

But, I disagree though. Stana, while pretty, is too 'modelly' for my liking, her features are a little too sharp. I'm much more attracted to Rachel, who's curvier and more gorgeous.

But... do you see the problem here? I'm not going to admonish you for preferring her to Rachel - as if I think it's an obvious fact that can't be denied. It's all a matter of opinion, isn't it?

There is a difference between my appreciation of SK and this never ending fixation with Miss Riley. I do not invade a forum every time SK appears, whereas there seem to be rather too many who start posting their suggestive statements whenever Miss Rley appears away from Countdown.

There is appreciation and there is vulgarity

BTW, you are wrong.

Neither of us are 'wrong'. If you genuinely can't understand the concept of how it's subjective then I guess there's no point continuing the exchange.

As for her great figure. What. She imo has no figure looks like a mop pole.
Maybe she has loads of old men. And young teenage fans

And we reach a point where my worst ideas are confirmed.

I answered the query quite politely and responded, again quite politely when my opinion was questioned, but when I respond in a similar fashion to the majority of this thread someone acts childishly and say they don't want to play anymore.

Blind devotion can be ugly sometimes.

I'm childish? That makes no sense.

You're the one telling others their subjective opinions are wrong, not me.

Well, I'm a woman and yes, I think she is stunning. I enjoy watching the ridiculously silly '8 Out of Ten Cats does Countdown' where she does have to put up with some pretty cheeky comments at times and takes them in good heart. It's not often you get brains and beauty - she has it all. Good luck to her.

I had to google...but concur, she's much more alluring than the rather bland Ms Riley.

Indeed, but at least she'd be a cheap date.

So we get a whole 2 page thread in the TV Programmes section all because Andy Birkenhead fancied a w**k.

This forum is going to the dogs.
