Emmerdale - definitely 1993-99. It's been very uneven since then
EastEnders - 80s, 90s, 00s. It hasn't been very good since the Santer days.
Corrie - 90s
Home And Away - 90s, late 00s. It's been drivel for about five years, nothing like the show I grew up watching at all.
Neighbours - mid-90s. It is absolutely unwatchable nowadays, I don't know how it's still going to be honest!

EastEnders - 1998-2002
Corrie - 1997-2003
Emmerdale - 90s through to 2006
Brookside - 1995-2000

(I have no memories of soaps before 1995, even though they were probably just as amazing!)

Eastenders - 90s and early 2000s

Emmerdale - the majority of 2000s can't speak for previous periods

Hollyoaks - early to mid 2000s

Coronation Street - 2004 - 2009/10

Neighbours - 80s and 90s

Home and Away - 90s to mid 2000s

The last time Corrie was at its absolute best, firing on all cylinders was 2004.

I liked Eastenders from the beginning in the 1980's when I think it started. But over the last few years I've practically given up on it.
Coronation Street during the days of Ena Sharples, Minnie Caldwell and Martha Longhurst drinking in the snug in the Rovers Return along with Annie and Jack Walker. I'm probably giving my age away.
Ian.

I did love EE in the early 90s but the early Slater years are the absolute best...early 2000s.

EE was probably best around 2008-2010.

Neighbours was best 1985-2008.

Home and Away was best 1988, 1989, 1994-1998, and 2008.
