Yep. Though I suspect there might have been a bit of gamesmanship from Sharon and Louis picking Matt as he'd be less competition.
It's a real shame that the demolition of Fountain Studios isn't going to finally lay the ghost of the X-Factor to rest!

Does it matter? The only purpose of the homecoming gig is to film something for the final to pad out the over long show.

My mam thinks that Saara will win. On another note, does anyone know of Dana? She'd be well known in Ireland because of winning the Eurovision years ago. My mam thinks Saara looks like a younger version of her. Never saw it before but after seeing this picture I can kinda see the resemblance!

Dana is pretty well known in England too and as an unsuccessful candidate twice for Irish President is known for more than her singing.
