I find all Danny's dances bash and dash. No lyrical quality at all.

Yes overmarked.

Actually thought Danny should have been fourth tonight behind Louise, Claudia and Ore.

And spot on again.

Lots of flash, poor technique.

Yep.

Shocking bias? Nope.

Ludicrous scoring all round? Yep.

Agree. I liked them in the earlier weeks but it's just too showy all the time now and as you say, a lyrical quality is missing.

And him a trained dancer as well ... tut tut!

Not shocking bias - boringly predictable bias. Mind I should be grateful, I was expecting four tens.

Oh yes, just not THAT good.

I agree - they were all over-marked tonight. I wish we could have more consistent marking over the series so that viewers can really see the value of higher scores.

Yes, the ten's for Danny were a bit ridiculous.

The dance was good but his footwork clearly wasn't right (Len and Carig both picked up on this) so awarding a perfect score when the dance wasn't perfect is poor.

And by giving him tens Darcy and Bruno have basically said that his Tango was as good as his amazing Samba which is just crazy!

He wasn't in the knees enough, he wasn't staccato and he was smiling all through it.

As a performance, it was good, but as a tango, not worth a ten.”

Every time any judge gives Danny a ten they miraculously realise he's been over marked 2 days later on ITT, I'm no expert but the mistakes have stuck out like a sore thumb every time, but no it's Danny so let's give him a string of 10s. Even Lens lenses pointed out a mistake by Danny last week and he STILL got 40. They're fooling no one now. Danny must win for the judges it seems.

Danny's footwork breaks down at least once each week, but no one notices till its too late.

So true. I do think 10's have lost their wow factor now as they're handed out so often. The judges will actually comment on the mistakes then proceed to mark a 10

Not from everyone I speak to...

I think it was much more obvious tonight with the Tango because you expect the footwork to be so sharp.

His posture is always fantastic though and he can carry himself in and out of hold. It was a solid "9" dance but not "10".

I agree - very little actual dancing by Ore this evening

I wasn't that keen on Ore's dance but then Foxtrot is my least favourite dance. Always find them very dull.

It's the one thing the judges are consistant with this series... commenting on mistakes and/or ignoring obvious errors (illegal lifts/gapping/looking at the floor, etc etc) but still giving 10's.
They've done it with ALL of the 3 'so called' contenders, no bias there that I can see.

I don't think Danny was over marked. I thing Louise was.

To be honest, I was just watching Danny's dance on the reply and I gave up on it half way through as there seemed to be very little tango, a lot of show dancing, and the backing dancers were just getting in the way.

And what there was, wasn't very good.

They had no maneuvering space left after they overmarked Ore. It had to be tens if they wanted to mark somebody better.

They didn't overmark Ore, he did a lovely dance, not flawless, but very, very good, very well - and it was a Fox, which is difficult, to music that didn't quite fit the dance.

He got a fair mark.

Danny's was NOT better, although it was flashier, and neither was Claudia's.

He wasn't overmarked from where the marks started tonight. Between Ore and Joanne's flat Foxtrot, with mistakes, thru half a Quickstep and Claudia and AJ's "finally a 10", with mistakes, to the final dance.
