I knew it. She's been the 'chosen one' after all. Bringing her back even though she didn't make 6CC, then saving her from bottom 2 three times, giving her the pimp slots.
The second sing off they sent to deadlock. The third they saved her. |

Did the person who had the money on for her to win cash out? Xx
Can't see my Cash Out offer at the moment (updating) but I'm interested to see how it pans out. |

I don't think she'll win, but I think she could have a successful career. Eurovision would be an obvious thing for her to do, and then leverage that into a career across Europe.

Yeah I think Eurovision is a given for her now as she'd be treated like royalty by the fans and bloggers

Whether she tries again for Finland or not, we'll see. |

The UK have a new selection process now, which involves submitting a song and then appearing on a selection show, with the entry voted for by the public. Unless they scrap their new system (I hope they don't), Saara would need to go through that channel to try to represent the UK. She'd be too late for this year too.

I've got £10 on her at 28-1, although there was another user who had a considerably bigger bet at £50 on 100-1.

I think she is safe for the final but won't win.
I can see the producers REALLY want 5AM to win, Simon Cowell's OTT praise for them is cringeworthy. If it's up to the public I still think Matt will win. |

Quite incredible that she's gone from having no chance to being the favourite to win, she's really turned it around.

You can see the bookies odds change by the way the judges lavish praise or criticise certain contestants. That is because the vast majority swallow the hype even though they themselves don't think they do. I had a feeling Matt and Emily would receive the negativity this week, I have seen this type of thing unfold year on year at semi final stage. Basically they want a Scandinavian / Baltic singer and an average boy and in the final. They know that none of them are great but those are the gaps in the Syco portfolio at the moment Don't people realise she hasn't turned it around, nobody has ever been saved on their third sing off, the judges have turned it around for her by over hyping her |

I hope Saara wins this. She is versatile, bubbly and fun to watch. The producers are pushing for Matt and Emily big time though.

I assume the odds were calculated before her second performance.

Votes count, not odds!
Need to vote. I don't think she will sadly. |

You can't be serious. She sounds like an amateur opera singer trying to sing pop

Yes!! She'll win and be forgotten in 3 months. I really hope she wins. The other acts are better of without Syco. They're still young and getting established. Lol, nobody will even remember this series, it's been shit from start to finish.

Saara is by far the best singer left in the competition and if The X Factor was still a singing competition, just like it was in Leona and Alexandra's year, then Saara would win AND Simon would invest in her music career.
Sadly, I still doubt Saara will win and even if she did, Simon would wash his hands off her straight away. The Cowell hasn't got a clue what to do with talented singers if he doesn't like them. That's why we get winners like Leon Jackson and Ben Haenow. That's why they get shafted when the Cowell has a winner he has no interest in. |

![]() Otherwise they would be sitting alongside Leon Jackson which would've been a terrible track record for X Factor winners. Mind you, as good as Joe McElderry was a singer I said even back in 2009 that he wasn't a pop star as his voice was too theatrical to pull off pop music. Cowell clearly didn't have a clue how to market Joe and pretty much destroyed his career from the start. Even an album of ballad cover versions would've suited Joe better than the Mika II stuff we ended up with. It wouldn't have been groundbreaking material but it would've worked to his advantage. |

I think it's incredible that Saara is now favourite to win! She will end up leaving in third place though sadly as Matt is the chosen one. I thought he was boring last night though.

Wow. I switched off in annoyance when she ended up in the singoff again in Week 2. Somewhat surprised to see that not only is she still in, but is now favourite to win the show! What happened?
