I'm one who has ranted about empty disabled spaces when I can't park but it would never, ever occur to me to park in one. I thank my lucky stars that I am perfectly able to walk from a space that's further way. Bad show Natalie.

No excuse for this the bays are clearly labelled. Another 'celeb' with too much self importance.

It's very naughty of Nat but it's not THAT bad, surely? Maybe a disabled person would be inconvenienced by it, which would be disappointing and frustrating for them, but it's hardly a matter of life and death, is it?
So unless someone does something that's a matter of life and death "it's not THAT bad".

It's inconsiderate and very selfish and I think doing things like this give an insight in to what a person is like and she has gone way down in my estimation.

That's what I wondered has the fame gone to her head or maybe she's always been like this and the gushiness and sugary sweetness is all an act.

Definitely wrong on Natalie's part and very much not on, but I also think whatever saddo with a camera stalked her and took pictures of this needs to get a life!

I also don't like the culture of "shaming" those who aren't obviously disabled for parking in disabled spaces. People can have hidden disabilities, or it could be a relative picking up a disabled family member. Just because the person getting out of the car doesn't have a very obvious disability, it doesn't mean they're not entitled to be there.

Seemingly not applicable to Natalie in this case, but food for thought. It can be really hurtful to the people who are accosted by supposed "do gooders" for parking in disabled bats.

If you're transporting a passenger who has a blue badge, you are supposed to display their card on the dashboard of your vehicle.

The blue badge rules apply only to on-street, not off-street carparks including private parking but surely they're a useful guide to the appropriateness of that too.

Even when you have a blue bagde people can be uppity about it though - thinking you are using a family members badge when you don't deserve to when actually you're picking up that family member, or you are actually disabled yourself.

Seems odd that a paparazzi is following her around like this.

There are no shots showing whether she has a disabled pass on the dashboard - I have used one when carrying some friends elderly relative. I would not put it pass the press to leave out an image of someone like that getting into the car.

In some pictures she is loading, it does not seem a serious infraction to use the bay briefly whilst putting some bags in the car - it is a private car park so the markings are advisory not enforceable by the police.

It is not impossible that there is no one living at the flats who is disabled and the residents have been told it is OK to use the disabled bay.

I used a small car park once that was nearly all disabled bays, the chap in charge told me to use one which I did without feeling at all guilty.

I'd like to think this is the case, and thank you for offering a different perspective on the situation.

Does Nat do Twitter? (I don't myself, so I have no way to know.)

It would be (mildly) interesting to know if she has responded to the allegations. Given all the comments I have read about how lovely she is from people who have actually met her, it seems rather out of character.

I'm finding it a bit hard to reconcile that someone who always seemed a nice person on the show could behave like a selfish tit away from it too. She definately gone a few notches down in my opinion of her.
Exactly how I felt.

She has a twitter account. And no, she hasn't responded. She obviously thinks she's entitled, being the megastar that she is..

All you have to do is type in the persons name, followed by twitter.

It might give you half a dozen Natalie Lowe's, but it won't be too difficult to work out which is the right one.

Interesting responses.........I wonder if someone like Kristina , Karen or even Ola would've been given the benefit of the doubt like quite a few people are doing here with Natalie.

Well, I am totally indifferent to Natalie and her "goddess" status - but would love to see if she has something to say on the matter

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I mean, why would they? None of them are above the law.

Considering some of the spectulation on here which the press have also been indulging in I think they were hoping to catch her out in a different way. The press are certainly not beyond that. It seems slightly fishy that they've suddenly found she's doing this certainly. Your explaination would make sense - and to answer the crits if it was Karen or Joanne Clifton I would find it equally strange that their celebs seem to like them so much when they capable of behaving in such an selfish manner in this case. It's not beyond the realms of possibility but it does seem something that should at least be questioned. Also I have actually defended Kristina on showbiz forums and got a lot of flak for doing so - I think for all her faults she's actually got a big heart so no I don't just extend the benefit of the doubt to Nat.

Sometimes with good reason Alexis Sayle on Room 101 took the mick out this misuse of this saying it was nice of the guy parking outside a club with a blue badge to take his disabled granny to a 'banging house' night there.

I like Natalie very much but if she has done this not once but twice then she should be prosecuted, it's against the law!!

She's @RealNatalieLowe on Twitter and she's not made any comment over this.
Disappointed if she did this on purpose and with no valid reason to park there.
